Good to see you changed the respawns. I remember playing chimerathe5th on the first version of this map. Everytime we would both spawn at one end of the map, I believe you call it the attacker's side.
lol, thanks dude. And LGnation is sort of in need for better forgers. It seems that any map I post there gets put into LG favs. Well that's only 2 so far... but it's been the same with my bungie.net buddy Debo. glad to see someone show some appreciation for Coldburn. Coldburn is probably my least known map, and most underrated map I've made. Anyway, I've been taking some time away from foundry, and I've LOVED forging out of foundry so far. Although it's a lot harder with the uneven ground and different objects, I love the variety of structures and looks you are able to forge on maps outside of Foundry. If it wasn't for Far Cry 2, I'd be forging a map on Blackout that I've already sketched up. ooh Coldfront... I don't blame you Vorpal. I have to admit, I got a little inspiration from Coldfront and Clive to actually make this map. Both of those maps helped me realize the possibilities of structures and gameplay on Avalanche. if it wasn't for those 2 maps, I probably would've never made this one. Aside from just a few objects placed for aesthetics (let's face it, even though gameplay is the most important part of a map, it needs some cool aesthetics too), I placed almost every object on the map in thought of how it will effect gameplay. So I took a lot of thought and time into making the layout. Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it. Best Gametype: I enjoyed Multi-Flag, but you can never go wrong with FFA Shotty Snipers or some good old Team Slayer. Geomerging on Avalanche: A lot like the door technique but easier and faster. You stick Energy Blockers into objects, place barriers around the object (such as walls or boxes, or even more energy blockers), then grab the object, save the game, and start it back up again. Or you could use boxes if your used to that technique. Yeah, that frequent spawn issue was quite annoying, with the fixed spawn problem, it also seemed like other portions of the map served battles a lot more than they did in v1, I definitely suggest you play on this version now to see how different it plays. I could always use a good, long, gameplay review =D
