They're right. Its not a $60 game its like a game when you're bored. I'm disappointed in Bungie doing both of these things. Now what are people supposed to look up for? What are people already holding recon suppose to feel? That they went through what they went through for ****? No when are we going to hear little kids talking about recon, or their fake dad being a Bungie employee? Its not even a real game, let alone a 60$ one. I could see this being sold in the arcade. Definitely not getting this anytime soon to the release date, or not at all. I'm actually spending 60$ on real games that are longer than Lord of the Rings.
exactly, now the people won't believe that the people earned recon from bungie favorites really did. Just like the katana and the marathon helmet. You used to have to get all 49 achievements, but now everyone nearly has it from getting enough.

Well they're probably going to make a new armour and start recon all over again. But by that time most Half and half halo-ers would have left for bigger and better games. Soon it will only be the loyal, halo 3 fans that have sticked with it form the beggining. Just watch the Online people day by day...
Well, I actually like how recon looks, flame if you want, but I do. It is simple and neat imo, and I was dismayed when it was Employee only... Or other persons. But now, I can't wear it, or I will have to put up with little asswholes talking their head off on how I am not special, and older people having a new reason to insult me, when all I wanted was cool looking armors ;_; And he said NOT $60 dollar pricetag.
I've asked around and, 7 out of 10 people I have asked said Bungie is making a new armor called Gemini(I think for elites). It's hard who tyo believe because those 7 people I always ask for other Halo 3 Updates and they are always corresct. But, then again, Bungie specifically said NO NEW ARMOR.mg:
Recon does look sweet. I never said I didn't want it, but I didn't want to obtain is this easy. I want it to be liek the way it is. You get it for Bungie notcing you in some way. But now they're bribing people to buy a $60 piece of **** just for recon. And I know some recon fanatics are going to actually fall into it. I'm sitll shocked they price an expansion for a full game at a full games price. Edit: I can't tell whether it be $60 or not. The wording is to tought for me to tell. If someone could provide other proof or translate what they're syaing then thank you.
It's sales marketing, Bungie knows people want this armor, and apparently are willing to pay for it. Makes sense though. Atleast they're getting a cool game with it.
Really, I don't like the look of the helmet much. I'd wear it for the achievement, but that is gone now. I love the look of the body, even if it means no katana, and possibly one of the shoulders (left shoulder stays at Hayabusa). Really, any Halo fanboy was going to get the game anyways. Recon is a bonus, if this is real.
i would prefer not to buy it I know right why would you spend 60 dollars on a freaking extension pack that las like 3 hours long i wouldn't buy. if i buy it i would be ashame of myself and if your gonna buy it u have no life and your gonna waste your 60 dollars on a 3 hour game come on
Exactly. Everyone wants Recon and Bungie knows that. They know people are going to be mad about their new game so they are going to include Recon for marketing purposes. Think of it this way: 7 year old kid: COOL! I get recon armor when I buy Halo 3: Recon! Older Brother: Yah, but H3: Recon is lame. Why waste the money? 7 year old kid: Because I get Recon Armor!!! -7 year old kids dad buys H3: Recon- 7 year old kid: Wow, this game sucks but at least I have Recon Armor! -H3: Recon goes unplayed- Now for you math people: Halo 3: Recon is -1 Recon Armor is +1 Halo 3 players hate Bungie so Bungie is at 0 (-1) + 1 = 0 0=0 Wait, were right back where we started...
Recon should be good though, so I'm not worrying. And even if it sucks, there are still the 'expanded forge options' or whatever on it.
So wait... Do you buy Recon game and get free armour. Or do you buy the armour and get a free game? =P
