We've already stated that this map is all about the gameplay. Interlocking and merging means absolutely nothing if the map plays like crap. This map plays incredible and was tested extensively. See my above comment for reasons for the basic layout of the map. I know some people are gonna expect the next Machu Picchu or Constrictor, but that is not what this map is about. It's not glitched and overly merged specifically because of it's impending submission to Atlas. Once you actually play it you will understand. It's about as balanced as you can get and you WILL feel like you are playing on a map made by Bungie. Clean, smooth, balanced, and easy to navigate.
appreciate the feedback. And while I respect your right to have an opinion, I really couldn't give less about what you think about the merges,because thats not what makes a map a map. Try to remember that fun factor > wow factor in the future. About the fly-through, I uploaded that to gamevee about 5 days ago and it took them for-ev-er to capture and upload it. It was ridiculous. I could do the same thing during a game, but the weapon layout would be unclear due to people picking up lots of weapons, vehicles being moved, that sort of thing. Plus, I don't have editing capabilities, so I gotta go with what I got, and me flying around one round of Flag isn't going to give yo the feel of the gameplay too well. You can just go play some games and find out for yourself. Thats what ForgeHub's all about, right? If I gave you every single tidbit and uncovered every mystery about a map then why would anyone DL it? Thanks DTL! We have high hopes for ATLAS, although I know of a certain map *cough*gridlocked*cough* that will certainly give us more than we need in terms of competition Glad you appreciate the how this baby runs though, cheers.

The map looks very clean and very well made. The layout looks impressive as well. I love how there is multiple rooms. I am downloading this and will get a game on it as soon as I can. Expect a review in the future!
I just realized this, but that area to the left of the attackers spawn was never used very much. All I can really think of to make it used a little more is putting the attackers base territory over there instead of right on the spawn.
Thats an interesting idea. We'll have to try that out, although I fear there's not enough cover over there. Can't hurt to try it out though, thanks
Amazing job guys. The layout is one-of-a-kind, and I think this map has a great shot in Atlas. I can't tell you how happy I am to hear from you guys how you take gameplay before aesthetics, and that a well-geomerged map that doesn't play well is meaningless. That's how I've always felt about maps. As complex as the map may look through pictures (Lots of different areas that differ in style), it is easy to navigate. I love this map, and have no complaints from it.
This map is very well done. It is easy on the eyes, meaning it is clean and simple. Beautiful. Even with the simplicity, it has wonderful aesthetics and gameplay equivalent to any map Bungie has ever made. But CURSES to you Lightsout for challenging us to break it... It took FOREVER but I finally did get a perfect nade jump to break the map. To get out of the map, you must, in the attacker base, jump from the needler spawn to on top of the open box housing the mongoose. From you make a slightly tricky jump on to the door frame that is built into Foundry, then sneak along the top of it, and after multiple tries, get a perfect nade jump onto the top of the map. (This is above where you take the teleporter to from inside the attacker base). And from there you can go pretty much anywhere. Phew. This map is epic and will lead to some awesome Custom Games, but I can only give you an 8/10 until it is unescapable.
thanks Shaddo. Yeh we are currently aware of 3 or 4 ways to break the map, including that one. We are investigating fixes for them.
See, to me, that is a very borderline break. First, you admitted it took a while to do, meaning that in game it is basically pointless to try and do. Second, there is no way you would ever be able to get away with returning the flag or bomb that way. Curse us for challenging you guys to break this!!! We clearly suck at it.
Damn good map. Some places seem a bit too open but that is probably because you want the mongoose to be used. The gate was very creative and so is the grav lift area. I like the deck the best because it has a really cool ramp area and the lower level is nice and empty. Is that upper bridge area the sniper tower? And as normal, great interlocking and nice job with making the map unbreakable. 5/5, I'll subscribe till my 360 gets back, then I'll download.
I love the map great interlocking and geomergeing my only complaint is at 0:42 theirs a teleporter.............I don`t like teleporters exept for keeping things still.
Hey, I just played this with you guys yesterday but I did not know it was posted up already. I really liked playing on this map, I only played 1-flag, multi flag, and territories, and every one of those games worked out well. The only trouble was when Creeping Death (i think it was him) spawned right behind me on territory 3. I think that only happened because the whole rest of my team was at your base taking 5. My guess is that area by 3 is nuetral so it wasnt really bad. The game still went very well and there was no other problems with gameplay to my understanding. I really would have liked to get a game of assault in since there are no "bomb home" or "bomb away" spawns to see how that worked but I had to back out. All in all this is a great map. Im really suprised at the quality of a map with no budget glitch to be so big and still play so great. 10/10 from me.
I love the wide open areas in this map. I normally can't stand Foundry because of how cramped it is, you guys did a great job breaking away from that. Everything looks great, it's the kind of genuine visual appeal that you get from a map when it isn't bloated with superfluous aesthetic features. And those two window panels situated under the deck are my favorite part of this thing. I don't know if that's been done in other maps, but the little gap it creates for weapon fire is just perfect.
I really like the defenders base, but the whole map seems really old school to me. A lot of things in the map ive seen before. Im not sure if its just me but I think I see 2 or 3 crooked geo merges. I will download the map and play it after dinner and give you a full review. just you wait.
Thanks Zombie, we popsted it just yesterday, shortly after that last test session. The respawn area at near territory 3 is in fact a neutral respawn area, so its quite possible that if your team is invading the other team's 2 dedicated respawn areas, giving them a very negative weighting, opponents will spawn at territory 3. It happens both ways, and is pretty typical of any map. Assault works great, especially neutral bomb. I'm sure we'll get some more games goin soon. Thanks for the feedback! Thanks Batty! Credit goes to Creep for forging the deck. We had a loose design planned but he really made it his own and did a badass job. The window panels are cool, and are very useful in KotH, where there is a hill in that corner. Glad you appreciate it. this map is very different from most foundry maps and i loved how you build a real base of the default Foundry ones, just a couple of days ago i started doing the same and not to brag but it is pretty sick, right now im planning the layout though since that was made in a random, unplanned forge session. Back onto your map. It is incredibly forged as well and in a lot of areas it feels like a real map due to the fact that it takes a lot of the action off of that gay ass floor of foundy. This is definitley staying on my hard drive for a long time.
Great job you guys, its a very fun map to play. I had a blast. Ill look for this in the other forum. Lights, what happened to the truck, loading area, one?? lul.. you ever going to do something with it?
