Call of Duty 5 is just about to be released. But it's obviously not over. Activision is currently in the making of Call of Duty 6. Wait, wait, wait. Call of Duty WaW is made by Treyarch Call of Duty 5 (which is not even close to being released) is going to be made by Infinity ward Call of Duty 6 is going to be made by Activision?! I'm getting really confused.
Sounds like Call of Duty is becoming a *****. As always though, new companies do have new ideas for old series. Maybe they can implement some new stuff in there.
If you have listened to Achievement Junkie for a long time, you would have known that one of the hosts, Nelson, sat by a guy from Infinity Ward on a plane once and over looked the guy looking at something that said Call of Duty: (I forgotten what it was called), but it looked like the sequel to COD4.
I think the only call of duties worth buying are the ones made by infinity ward. Activison call of duties arent as epic as Call of duty 2 and 4, just look at call of duties 3 story and multiplayer, it failed alot. Call of duties WaW multiplayer is basically an exact ripoff off of Call of duty 4, I guess they didnt wanna dissapoint the fans.
WTF? Is it turning into Final Fantasy. Well hell I like the WaW beta, so lets just hope they'll bring us new stuff, not the same ****. But I guess I'm 10% excited...?
OK call of duty waw is not cod 5. Just clarifying that. And calling it a rip off? No they are doing something that worked really well. Don't blame activision just because you didn't like their call of duties as much. I have played the beta and I personally like it more than cod4. I think its more balanced and stuff.
The beta is basically a duplicate of CoD4, just with WW2 weapons and instead of helicopters, you have dogs and tanks. Its just like playing an updated CoD4 set in the past. Zombie mode though, that looks interesting.
Yeah it is, and its not. Really there are only some features that relate to each other. The main ones are +10 for a kill and knifing in my opinion. But then everything else is different. I never played CoD4, well scratch that. I never owned it, but played it for a while at a friends house. I see why you guys say its totally alike, but why not give it a try. Theres a different story line, cards (For those of you who don't know that these are well then find that video on game trailers about WaW, I'm to lazy), ****ing epic zombie house game, and much more. I personally think the differences out-weigh the similarities. But most likely it will still be popular. ~~~Edit~~~ Heres the video for all of you. I really gotta disagree with you on that part (bolded). Call of Duty 3 did suck some major wiener, but Call of Duty WaW is completely different. And no, it's far from being an exact ripoff. They're using the same engine, and the same multiplayer base, but everything else is different. A lot of new perks, completely different weapons, maps, a brand new campaign, the zombie-horde mode, etc. I'd definitely buy World at War. Only problem is, too many games,too little time. Nazombie mode made me switch from saying "**** that its a mediocre ripoff of CoD4" to buying the game because you know they were just sitting around going..."shiiiit man...we need **** Zombies" furthermore... CoD5 = CoD:WaW CoD6 is getting made by Infinity Ward, it was already confirmed as WaW was announced and to clarify, they don't have anything figured out for the future of the series besides them knowing that its a cash-cow, for example, they don't know whether SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Captain Price is dead or not, hence the epilogue mission having masked names for the characters involved despite the voices being similar.
Sorry, but it's actually not Cod 5. Infinity ward bought the rights to make a Cod 5, so Treyarch had to make one without a number. So Cod 5 =/= Cod WaW.
