Aio V2.51 UPDATED ******11/4/08***** Basics To Map: This map is basically a 2 tower asymmetrical map that after a few tests is basically a kill fest in slayer, and requires a good amount of team work in Oddball which makes for a good time. The only bad thing about it is the spawns which i'm am currently tweeking with to perfect them, but if you wouldnt mind helping me with spawns it would be a great help. Hmm, this map has a very interesting layout for MLG. Pros: Layout Cover Interlocking Cons: Boxes should be geomerged a little bit into ground so that you can jump on them without having to use ledges Some parts of the map seem very empty Overall still great map
It's a good thing that it's open but i think it's a little to open, i think that there is a big possibility that the sniper will just dominate because none of the other weapons can really beat it.
looks good but i do have problems with it. it may be too open like skoolbus said and also a sniper on the small, square MLG maps are usually fail. The only time snipers do well on a foundry MLG map is when ALL of foundry is used with the exceptions of the hall in the back and those side window panel rooms btw- I'm pretty sure your post is a bit flawed. I'm 95% sure that you are suppose to give a direct link to the map instead of your file share
you need to put weapon holders ontop of movable such as that wire spool in one of the pics The map overall is good, some new ideas
Wow with the new cover it looks great! Now you could definitely have a sniper in this map, there is enough cover for the rest of the people. That's good that you added those dumpsters for easier access. BTW put the sniper back in, i noticed you said you took it out, it will work fine with it in now.
ok heres some friendly constructive critism: very good layout/ structure and use of merging, now for some other stuff to crotech or however u spell it lol, um on the first pic where there is like a lttle tunnel on both sides, i would think single box open merged upside down into the double box, use 4 walls for height wise, also if u wanna keep the tunnels made with walls, slant the walls to the same direction as the double box because in the pic there was a little spot on the side of the wall where someone could camp and assinate pple as they walked by. fixing that will eliminate angry players =] oh and i would suggest makeing two bases on each side like a typical mlg map. other than that it is a very good structured map and i hope to see a v2, oh and if u put snipe put too so its even game play, but i wudnt put snipes still. 4/5
well, honestly i did not think there was anything to this map.........AND THEN I SAW THAT INCREADIBLE STRUCTURE. the interlocking and/or geomerging in this map is perfect. Here is the picture i'm talking about. It is so increadible that it reminds me of amplified.
I was considering doing this but the only problem is i only have 1 maybe 2 Single Boxes but when i do finish making my v3 i plan on making all the double boxes accessable by simply jumping so you wont have to run and find the nearest jumpable item so it will look alot nicer
I have to say that the map is very well made and that the geomerging isn't crooked at all.The only thing i would say is that the side areas are a little too open.The map looks fun to play and looks big from the pictures.I think you should be a little more creative in the map though.Good map
