It's ok... already saw, made, and played on a lot of trench WW maps. This one, however, has the most interlocking. For this map, I would suggest that you create a barrier between the turrets so they can't shoot each other. One question, are there underground tunnels connecting the bases?
sweet map! i like the idea of trenches- gives a very World War I/II feeling. and a map with tunnels is always a good one! it brings COD into Halo kind-of the only thing that could be improved- nothing big, some of the trenches look like you need to jump out of instead of crawl out of, that exposes the player to the rest of the opponants, could be messy- but its not a big deal- its not too hard to find people in bright red or blue anyways
i think you should make a remake, on either standoff, valhalla, or another big map. also, i think that the turrets should be at ground level, so as not to have a huge advantage over people in trenches, only people coming out of trenches. plus wraiths that are kept in place by teleporters, and used as artillery. also the weapons should suit the WWI setting, being only snipers, BR's, magnums, rocket launchers, shotguns, and a flamethrower. also, a tunnel that goes to both sides would be very good, especially if it had collapsable pallets with fusion coils on them, resulting in possible traps if used effectively. also, you could put double boxes and concrete blocks on one side to be like trees you can take cover behind
No. the underground tunnels do not connect the bases. I did this because who would ever go to the top when you can just go underground. If you could, the turrets would be useless. They do however provide excelent cover.
yah, but maybe if you had like traps in the tunnels it could lure people away. if you could have 2 fusion coils drop on your head and kill you at any second, you might think twice about going. maybe have a pallet, a dumpster on it, and when u shoot the pallet, the dumpster falls and kills the people. also, if you have something were you can drop tons and tons of random objects like wire and lots of junk that can injure you and block your way.
there are a lot of things you have proposed and i must say they are very difficult. it was hard enough the raise the ground lvl of the entire map on foundry and you want me to do it on like standoff or another map while still maintaining budget. i will make a version 2 soon with my budgit glitch map and i will also put in some unique twists the the map itself. thx for your suggestions
i still think that the tunnels with traps is a good idea. maybe like a barricade you have to destroy to get to the other teams tunnel(like a ton of pallets and random crap) and traps to defend if the enemy is in your tunnel(or attack if youre in thiers i guess, use their traps against them)
like i already said... i am working a new trench warfare map but it will still be on foundry. it is going to be a twist on the one i already have and it would probably be classidied not as a v2 but a hole new map. tunnels, trenches, and insane gameplay. my deadline is going to possible be christmas day. get ready guys cause this map is guna be sick!!!
