    hey rick! i remember testing this w/ u. i loved it ive played it about 10 times already today!!! the way the game plays out is amazing! basically the only problem with the map is that sometimes when u fall u fall slowly and sometimes fall on to the acual blackout map and ur not near a teleporter which wastes time. anyways, glad to see you finally posted the map and i hope to see more fun maps/games like this.

    umm, i think it is more of a minigame so idk if your gonna get it moved. it doesnt really matter though.

    Ahh yes, a fantastic game! it seems there are plenty of maps being made with the "floating" style above this or other maps... but this map is good old fashion fun, word of advise... if it is your first time playing this map, do not join a game with others who have a great deal of experience playing it and expect to win. I found myself the other day with a few other of my buddies get our a$$es handed to us by Mr. Cosmic here. (Touche Sir....) Ill need a rematch one night, keep up the original work. Def DL.

    Glad you all have been enjoying the map (with the exception of CommanderA17, or course). That little gametype pseudo-contest still stands, though, if anyone's feeling creative. I realized the other day that slayer wouldn't really work (due to blackout fighting) but you could to hill/slayer that forces you to stay in the top of the level, for instance. And all the objective games should work, methinks.

    Would this be necrobumping, and if it is, I'm sorry. Now that that is aside, you could have used Standoff, if you didn't mind the fact of not enough room for falling off to die...

    No, I think the necroposting cutoff is something like 3 weeks.

    Anyway, you're right. I could have. But then I'd have had to spread out the death teleporters way too much. Blackout gives players the best chance of falling to their deaths by having the lowest percentage of x-y-plane covered by ground. Plus I think it's slightly less restrictive with respect to the elastic and death ceilings.

    I'll lock this thread now, too... all new posts can be put in the featured map thread.
