Mirror's edge The 360 demo is out now, and in my opinion looks and feels epically promising. It's an EA game made by the good/non-troll population of the EA staff  has anyone else played the demo yet? your impressions? when i get it i may just post an exclusive review for forgehub
Demo, you say? I had thought this game would end up being boring or get old really quickly. I will have to check out the demo if I can pry myself away from FC2, GH:WT, and soon to be released GoW2.
demo is hawt its all portally but different and you can take different paths in places so you can do things differently
I want the demo well bad, but I can't cos I'm at my Dads house and we don't have Xbox Live here. Damn. Can someone enlighten me on the controls? I'm just wondering how you control a game like Mirrors Edge.
I played the demo, have to say, I was skeptical at first. This seems like a first person future Assassin's Creed (with the acrobatics and everything). I enjoyed it thoroughly. This will probably be on my Christmas list, or I'll ask for it for another birthday party.
I love this game more than any other game I have ever played. I have a feeling that it will be a one of a kind game (no sequels or prequels). I felt like I was actually on the rooftops of this futuristic city. I'm glad it is a very clean city instead something dark, it would have thrown the entire vibe of the game off. I really want to pre-order so I can play the time trial part of the demo. I have played the 1 level of the story at least 20 times. I thought about buying this at X-Mas, but now I want it when it is released. This is my kind of game. I can't think of anything I did not like about it. However you can only play on easy and normal, not hard. In the Bioshock demo you could played hard if you went into the game defaults thing on the dashboard and changed it to hard. However this little glitch (not really a glitch, but I can't think of a word for it) does not work with this demo and it makes me Please try the demo!
The demo, as Grif has already said, is pretty amazing...I'm going to be recording some of the amazing stuff you can do in it, but yeah, thats for some other time. I will be buying the game.,...wait, no....no chance, as Far Cry 2 will probably be the last game I buy...ever..
its lb for upward movement and lt for downward rb for quick 180 spin rt for attack y for disarm x for reaction time (seems pretty unneseccary in the demo) a and b appear unused.... here its for the ps3 in the vid but its practically the same almost all demo footage
I thought it was pretty sweet. I couldn't see myself playing that game too many times. It was cool and all, but I don't know. And it was a demo. You can't judge a game by its demo. Even though it was cool. Maybe it will be even better than the demo, maybe it'll get really repetitive...
I found it to be a very good demo, however knowing where to go can get confusing at times, as can running away from guards.
Practice my friend, and to look where to go you just hold down B I didn't like Far Cry 2, I want my $60 back...
Well this game is pretty amazing, the replay in it is trying to do perfect runs without getting shot or messing up. I just spent an our on the demo level trying to kill all the cops on the rooftops and then all the swat... I killed the cops eventually without a single mess up, but the swat are a ***** =/
Yeah, I don't like the whole free roam thing, you get ambushed a lot and its a real big map. Might sell it to my friend who wants it badly and get Saints Row 2.
Well I can't argue with your opinion, I hope you find a game that you enjoy this winter, because I've found mine.
Do you mean the leaderboard, or did I miss something and two people can be racing each other at the same time?
That is why they added the Time Trials to the demo, so people would extend the demo and pre order the game. I have played the time trials yet, I think you can play 4, but I don't know for sure.
