Geomerging guide by educa7i0na1 tv I have seen very bad geo merges before and I want to fix that. This is a guide that has been proven and is the most effective way. The easiest and most effective way to geomerge is done by using teleporters as guides and you need to use the save/quit method. HOW TO DO IT: 1st: Surround object you want to geo merge with sender nodes 2 on each side for a single box and 3 for a double box but on the shot side use 2. 2nd: Put the doors into the top of the object. 3rd: Look at object to geomerge and press A, do not let go. 4th: Save and quit while still holding box (even if the object looks crooked) 5th: Start the game. 6th: Now adore your perfect geomerge PLEASE NOTE: This does not always work with walls, fence walls, and wall doubles. You must have them straight for it to be good. Use a corner wall to keep it straight then delete the wall corners then surround the wall.
Wall cornors are'nt the best, I use different things for different methods. For example, if I was to geo merge tilted, I would place a stairs on the smallest part of it, (Not the bottom of it) and would place a box beside the tilted part, piut teleporters around it so that it will stay still (This usually takes around 5 - 10 minutes) and would place doors on top of the pbject and tap A, pause the game, save & quit and then come back into the game. P.S You will have to do it more than once to get it at a really nice tilted angle. Also, a tip for you, try to include pictures of how to do it.
I think a better way of geomerging is lets say you're geomerging a double box. put reciever nodes on there sides on each side of the box (2 on the long sides). Make the box respawn later and start a new round. float a fence wall (2 would be even better) however low you want the box to be (or place sender nodes and place the fence walls on the senders) save and quite if you plan on floating the fences but if you use sender nodes to support the fence walls then you don't need to save and quit. Make the box instantly respawn and click A to pick it up, then click A again to let go of it and at least 95% of the time it'll work perfectly. It takes a little longer tan your way but is most effective.
no, actually saving and quitting is alot faster and alot more precise. you can also go WAY deeper. you should try it.
