so i started the game and got to the ritual. it tells me to talk to abbot but there is a monk standing in the doorway to the temple and i cant get past him. he does not move and i can not kill him. has anyone else had this and if so can you help me.
There is obviously a way to get passed him, as if not it would make the game impossible. So, try scrolling through a Fable 2 forum and then you can get your answer sorted. Or someone in ForgeHub might know the answer.
tried all that i slept for nearly a month and became really good nothing helped. oh weel i started over
Did you turn off safety before trying to kill him? You also sometimes need a certain amount of renown to advance, that is, if he was standing there on purpose, not as just a random civilian, who decided to walk and stand in that spot.
Go get some more renown so that you are able to do the quest. Once you are well known enough there shouldn't be anyone there but the abbot.
I did a quest to get some renown, and then explored a bit (wandered). I came across this garden, it's in that city (can't think of the name, but there's an architect there). There is an unusually large amount of people there, or at least when I went there was. Just flash a trophy a few times around the people, you should get quite a bit of renown... Which is a better alternative to marrying someone in my opinion (if renown is the problem in the first place...).
there are a lot of easy huge renown quests anyway. Get statues made Though it increases your corruption (not the same as evil)
No, it's for sure a Glitch. It happened to me too. People are complaining about it on the Lionhead Forums and hopefully they'll patch it up. Otherwise I'll have to gift my friend all my gold and items and give it to my other profile...
Here's your problem : If you don't listen to all of the monk's story, then it glitches out. Listen to the whole thing, then it won't. If you aren't at that spot, then sorry.
