Dirt is a fun infection map. I got most of the idea from "Wack a mole". But I figured it would be better if the humans could defend themselves... Well, seems cool enough, as I like a good Whack-A-Mole game.....just don't play it 17 hours a day > Weird al Yankovic reference from "Your Horoscope For Today". Any way back to the map, I like the Idea of being able to defend yourself from the zombies, 3.5/5
While this idea for a mini/casual game is amazing, there is an unfortunate flaw, what is forcing you to go on the Mongoose or stay on the Mongoose? If you don't mind me suggesting something to you to fix it, you could give the Zombies Gravity Hammers and Enhanced Radar so if someone hides under without a goose you could hit them through the floor. You should also make the Humans walk slow if you haven't already. Lastly, if you're going Purple Bunker style with the Needlers, you should build the walls up to the invisible barrier or put a roof.
OOOH this looks like a very cool map. I like how the moles or whatever are partly in the ground. And they have needlers, that is a good choice. Can they like go down and disappear though? Anyway, you should try using the bottoms of boxes for your walls in the future cuz they look pretty.
Oh ok, so they just have to use the needlers to fight off the incoming zombie(s). If that is so, I should think that they should be a bit faster.
What do you mean faster? There is no way to make the humans fast because they are in mongooses. If you mean the zombies, I'll try it out and tell you what I think of the idea. Thanks
It's pretty obvious from your comment that you didn't forge through the map before you posted. If you had, you'd know that the wall in the human spawn is only low enough for the mongooses to get under. There is indeed no way for the humans to hide because if they get out of the goose, they get on the zombie's level and they die. It's also obvious you didn't play it on the gametype either, because the humans are slow in it. The rules on forgehub posting are that you must forge through the map at least once. Just because you've been on here a long time doesn't mean you're an exception to the rule.
First of all, I have RRoD so I can't really tell and I was judging from his post. This whole catastrophe could have been avoided with a more detailed post about the map and gametype. Besides, if every one just got out of the Mongeese at once and assassinate the Zombie, it would ruin a match as well. Second, it seems that everyone is ignoring the fact that I said, that per caution could be used so the Zombie doesn't fly out of the map if too many humans shoot at it at the same time, potentially ruining the game.
Regardless of the fact that you have xbox troubles, there are no exceptions to the rules. If you don't forge/play through a map, then do not comment on it. Also, the zombies have very high gravity and the way the floor works is that when the humans shoot, only the stuff parallel to the floor goes anywhere; everything else hits the bottom of the bridges. This makes it impossible for the zombies to be pushed up and over the walls.
Looks like a cool mini-game map even though i aint a fan of them myself. I will download and play but i have no xbl access until next week so will not be able to play through unitl then. Still I've yet to find a mini-game that has a lasting appeal- i tend to find once i've played it once it's boring if i play again. Oh and also please don't bump, you may think your map is better than every1 elses but your big-headedness gives you no reason to bump your map above other peoples. regards evil j3bus
wow, that is an amazing idea only problem tho is that the idea kinda takes soe thunder from the gameplay i dont really know how fun it would be to play awesome idea tho

looks great and fun, ima definitly dload. it'll be awesome during HALO'ween. but when you click the link to dload it takes u to ur fileshare, u should click on more details then add a comment about it for both the map and gametype, then provide us with a separate dload link for each. that way it is easier for us to find it, encase u had like bungie pro so we wouldnt have to look through all the other stuff just to find 2 things. you know? its just easier, but fortunatly it wasnt that hard to find. i look foward to playing this when i get back online later today, seriously. 3.5/5 for now.
Well, I think I am going to make a v2. I'm just going to add some decorations and make the links to the game-type and map more accurate and less confusing to some people. It will probably be done by Tuesday, because of my addicted sister who plays neopets all day long... -.-
