I am having trouble interlocking and geomerging. With interlocking i cant get it to merge how i want it to and with geomerging i cant get it to go down straight it always goes down at a little angle. HELP! please post some tips here or help me over xbox live my GT is deathshadow41
Have you read the forging 101 yet? It helps a lot with all the basic stuff you need to know. Just remember that when you merge, always set up guides so it goes down straight. I would add you to my FL but my box is broken currently.
I have read forging 101 but the geo merging guide doesnt really help... Im getting better at interlocking though.
You could also look into blood fire's videos showing how to geomerge and interlock. Just search it on youtube or something. They're really helpful.

Geomerging, I have found, is majoritively a matter of luck. You set up the guide walls, you get your pushing object in place, then you svae and grab the object you want to merge. Then you grab it again. And again. And again. And again... and wiggle it some. And grab it again... And you keep doing this over and over until by some miracle it actually decides to end up straight (or jumps 45 degrees into your guide walls and freaks out until it squeezes out from oyur guides completely like a giant turd...). This is generally how my geomerging goes. Also, the deeper you merge an object, the more displeased it will be. Final note: angles are hard to merge. So are Legendary maps. Don't ever try to geomerge and object at an angle on a Legendary map deep into the ground, unles you're a masochist.
