BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams Revealed PS3 version of BioShock confirms sequel. by Jimmy Thang October 16, 2008 - Developer 2K Games has revealed BioShock 2, subtitled Sea of Dreams, through a hidden cutscene contained within the PlayStation 3 version of BioShock. The trailer was revealed by N4G.com and the setting is said to take place along the "Atlantic Coast." The cinematic features a woman looking out at an oceanic coast as she holds a small, big daddy figurine. As the camera pans out, pillar-like structures start to form what appears to be a city in the foreground. Finally, a BioShock 2 logo emerges and is quickly followed up by the subtitle "Sea of Dreams." Watch the off-screen trailer here. IGN has contacted 2K Games to find out more details on the next installment of the popular first-person shooter, and we'll update you as the news comes in. UPDATE: While explicit game details were not unveiled, 2K Games has confirmed that the cutscene is legitimate, and that players can unlock it by beating BioShock on any difficulty level.
This game looks really sick. I never got to finish the first game, but still this game looks like a great game.
I cannot wait for this game. Bioshock was quite possibly the best single player experience I have ever had. This game won't dissapoint.
Oooooo. I think I'm excited for the new one. More details would be nice, but details will be released when they're ready. I hope it's just as good as the first. The final boss battle was very disappointing though. There wasn't much to it.
Im happy that I was able to beat the game within my renting time. I beat it within 1 day (24 hours total) the boss battle at the end was incredibly disappointing though. Hopefully this one will deliver everything we want.
Hope they make it tougher than the last because the respawn thing made it a bit to easy. Otherwise it kicked ass.
Awww thats too bad, it would have been nicer if it was exclusive to Xbox 360 but they want more money.
Oh my god... Bioshock 2... I have a reason to wake up in the mornings again! Forge, my love, I am sorry... there is Bioshock to be played. Bioshock was hands-down my single favorite game ever (Narrowly beating out Zelda: OoT). I cannot WAIT for the sequel... I am curious as to how it will be run though. The plaot to the first wasa highlight of the game... can 2k do that again?
OMG OMG OMG! no but seriously ya! i just got done betting bioshock for the third time . i wonder what the story line will be . i haven't seen all the endings but none of the ones i saw had much leeway .
**** yeah, Bioshock was one of my favorite single-player games on the Xbox. Now, where's Mass Effect 2?
I have to say, I hope it's a tad harder than the last one, I beat that in less than twelve hours and managed to pretend that it wasn't the game I wanted for christmas and trade it in for a full refund to get COD4 Twas an epic game though, the story definitely was the highlight, which is why I hope this game has multiplayer. the ending(s) of Bioshock allowed the sequel to go either way, so it'll be tough for 2k to make a satisfying game that works with both of the endings. Or they could start a completely new story line...
I got stuck not too far into it. Where you have to gather like 4 bottles of water, 8 bottles of acid or something. I had all of every except for one. I speant hours looking for it. Eventually, I gave up.
In the markets? with the Bee Nectar, Distilled Water and Wine or something? yeah, that was the hardest part...
YES! It was hell looking for them, as I said; I speant several hours searching. Each time I'd play I'd have to look for them unless I started a new game, which I couldn't be bothered doing. Eventually I gave up on it. I still have the game, in pretty good condition. Although I did prefer 2K's previous game, The Darkness, over BioShock.
