Im new to this forum and i dont know where to find the answers on my questions. So ill try to ask you guys instead. I have built some nice maps and im wondering: Is there any way to protect my maps from other people stealing them? If i get them on my fileshare theres a big chance of getting them stolen. Just download them and save as new map. And the author will be changed.Since it is that easy for others to steal my maps im afraid to upload them on my file-share and therefore nobody will see my nice maps. Help pls...
Unfortunately there is no way to copyright a map. (unless you hide a weapon on it, but that doesn't always work) Don't worry though because forgehub peoples are good peoples and will not take your map. So go ahead and post your maps!
I would agree but just in case hide a weapon on your map or even two. I will tell you a story. Someguy claimed they built Pennyless, We joined their forge and found the hidden weapon.
ya theres no way to to make sure no one steals them, but like they said MOST of forgehub is good peoples. theres some noobs here and there that think they can get away with it , but just hide a weapon like people above me said.
if someone steals your map they'll probably get banned. and the way i do it is I interlock a teleporter inside a single or double box.

If they ever steal a map again, and claim it as their own, the list is simply checked, and they get banned. For a longer amount of time. So I just suggest to not withold your maps, and post them here. Too many amazing maps have been posted to be stolen, yet none have. I hope to see your maps very soon!
