Bungie.net Another website which most of you should know Xbox.com gave us some more info on some of the campaign and... the MULIPLAYER which may or may not be true. It is very interesting and GOD I HOPE THEIR RIGHT-- Take a look Xbox.com | Xbox News - A New Look at the Halo Universe ____________________________________________ some of their info even mentions a "expanded forge" ____________________________________________ -"Halo 3: Recon gives fans more of what they love. With exclusive new maps and expanded Forge options, Xbox LIVE® Gold members will find more multiplayer content than ever before with Halo 3: Recon." Sounds very very very interesting...... and we may have seen some of this "expanded forge" before in one of their videos...*hint hint* sadly we have no way of knowing.... but it is something to look forward to.
Impossible that the new game would have that map we saw with that expanded Forge. He was in Halo 3, he was a Spartan. The ODST is an ODST? See the difference?
Did you even read the website he linked you to? Plus, it's already be said that there will indeed be new maps (for multiplayer0, and I don't see why new Forge options would be a bad thing.
I want you to use logic here. Multiplayer is Multiplayer. Single Player is Single Player. See the difference?
Notice, he is hinting at the EDGE acceptance video here. And in that video, Lukems (I think) is in Halo 3 when he is on that map. Hopw could he be playing Halo 3: Recon? And yes, I did read that website.
First of all, Halo 3 Recon is an expansion. For those that have never heard of expansions before, that means all the ground work and a huge amount of models are done. That means everything in Halo 3 is in Halo 3:Recon. Do you have problems in your logic?
Not at all! He was a Spartan in the video you see. In the expansion, you play as an ODST, which I'm sure you've heard, correct? ODST's cannot flip vehicles or beatdown people in heavy armor. And if they could, then you would be playing as a Spartan in H3 Recon. In other words, if he was an ODST, I would believe you.
You're logic is flawed. I will explain what an expansion pack is, shall I? An expansion pack is an expansion to what has been already set up. In genaral, these fix mistakes that were in the original game and add more features, modes, story and maps. (Key word is add.) ODSTs can't flip vehicles. True. But, in multiplayer, chances are they can. (If they are a model added.) In multiplayer, everything will be the same old Halo with these new changes. In Single player, it genarally adds more Campaign. Do you understand now?
This is an expansive separate game [ex: FEAR Files]. The new maps are already related to Halo 3. Theres achievements related to them, and We've already seen Screenshots and live videos of people playing Assembly on Halo 3. Halo3:Recon simply stated NEW multiplayer maps, and All of them being forge compatable... which all of the maps we have already are. They also state that forge will be roughly the same, with some minor new features. Dont blow this game out of proportion, or you'll set everyone up for disappointment.
I don't give a **** how much it costs. If it's full retail price I'll still get it. (although it'll probably be $30-40) Come on, it's Halo!
