Now, something tells me that Bungie wouldn't just put that in as a decoration if it is nearly impossible to notice unless a) You already know its there or b) you spend all of your whole life (like me) desperately searching Sandtrap for clues. Ok, I have been really down there. It is basically a big cube or rectangle that has nothing in side of it. There is no way into or out of these secret rooms that I could find. Next time, believe we did something. In this thread we don't tell lies.
okay. i might as well tell you guys. on the map of sandtrap, in the elephant, there is an underground room the should be open, but it isn't. Once you are inside, you can can see gree lights representing the eggs, but you can only see them from the corner of your vision.
Umm I do not know if this has been reported yet but in the elephants on those TV screens there is some writing and pictures and what not. I didn't get the time to read all of it but some close observation could lead to something considering there are pictures from the outside of Sandtrap on there.
You mean on the map that shows up inside the elephant? I'm looking now but can't seen anything. Edit: I even checked in Theatre mode, got a close look at the map, couldn't find a hidden room. Could you post a picture? That map actually shows more than is really there, it shows pieces of the structures which are submerged in the sand, maybe you mistaking the hidden room for one of these parts?
Something worth noting, though; the elephants can be damaged. It's nothing much, and from what I've seen they never respawn, but if you melee the top turrets on the elephants, the shield will fall off. No matter what I did to the rest of the vehicles, I couldn't get any more damage on them. As for the secret room...I'm not willing to search Bungie's massive file network so I can see it for myself. Are you sure you couldn't get it from that friend again?
Nope, I don't know the person who had the map. We were playing it when I joined a game of 14 people and I didn't know who this guys was.

I believe he is saying that their is a hidden room within the geometry of the Elephant though. A potential but not one I have heard about.
