not sure if this helps at all, but i have been looking at sandtrap and at all of the details. heres a hole in the map: CLICK HERE as you can see in the hole, there two pillars, as it seems... if it helps at all.
Hmm maybe. That could be like an activated swithch where you throw a grenade in there then do the other required steps. We're really getting somewhere.

i was looking around more today, the aegis fate is so big, i was looking through it, and as some of you may have noticed that the aegis fate has red blinking lights, while most of the pillars on sandtrap have green blinking lights. they are opposite colors of the spectrum, thought i would point that out. as i pointed out before, there is a hole in sandtrap, when you through a nade in, it spins and there is the vibration of an explosion, but no sound. i noticed when i looked under sandtrap that there are two green lights, you can only see them when you are at a specific angle. there is an owl in the sand of sandtrap, a huge one. it covers a huge amount of sand, and trust me, this is not imagination, if i pointed it out to you, i guarantee that you would almost instantly see it. the ziz is the protector of birds, mmmm, well maybe i have made a discovery. the aegis fate is huge, you cant even see the inside of it, why would the designers have any reason to put unseeable details on the inside? no reason i suppose, maybe something quite important. there are six of these "davinci" eggs floating. five of them are the same, going from letters A to P, straight and diagonally, such detail it would be surprising if they weren't there on purpose. i have gotten as close as i could outside the map as a human, and i spawned a sniper, (floating platform), and i shot the egg, and it bounced off. not every time, but enough to make sure i knew what happened. then, i aimed on it with the sniper, pulled out the laser, and shot it, i zoomed in with the sniper, and it steamed. so, they are a real material. anyway, one of the eggs is differently shaped and patterned, and as far as i can tell, it had the same letters. as someone posted before, i just wanted to confirm, that the elephants do have a special barrier that is in the shape of a figure eight, one strip through the middle, and a circle around. so basically, the elephants are stuck in the map, and cannot get on the minefield. for example, ever played on an exploding elephant map? isn't weird how the elephant never seems to leave the map. yup, that should be proof enough. last thing, there is a little screen in the elephant, you should know what im talking about. anyway, when it shows a map of sandtrap, it shows a somewhat more detailed map then what you yourself see. the darker red on that represents material underground. i noticed a red tunnel going from one point to another, an underground tunnel. it is not there in the actual game, but is buried by sand. i am glad if any of this helps, although most of it probably doesn't. i am sorry that pics cant be uploaded, so if you are confused on what im saying, im sorry. xbox live is down, but i will try getting some up sooner or later.
Wow monkey... Epic. Where's the owl? Btw the massive towers at either end of the map look like sword blades. and you know something? You can drive the elephant sort of up the barrier at the buildings. and when I overloaded the map one of the phants disappeared. And erm... this could be irrelevant but the elephants have a hexagonal pattern on the windscreen,
i will try to take a picture of it with my camera, but it will probably be all nasty looking until xbl is working again. the elephants have a hexagonal pattern, im afraid i dont understand.

Trying to break under the map here, I can see under, and there's weird green marker things... Look liek green powerups... Will post again if I find anything useful. sorry im a little late on responding, and i have figured out something else about the maps terrain, the little rocks in the minefield are no mistake, they align perfectly with the other pillars, (going through the middle of the map), they have been buried in sand and crumbled, if you go under the sand you can see the rest of those pillars, lolz. Dthen, i was just saying that i saw those 2 green things, you have confirmed it which is good, if you find anything else go ahead and post, otherwise the rest of the map is empty under there to the best of my knowledge. and the map is basically a huge square once you break out here is the pic of the owl: [unedited version] [edited version for those without eyes] EDIT: just so everyone knows, i posted this information because ziz is the protector of birds, and theres an owl, well there you go. maybe this has something to do with it, i dunno.
of course, i used my camera because of xbl, once its up and running, as soon as i get a chance i will upload everything i explained, on this page and the last one.

in relation to your levithan behemoth thing, i think thats its the two elephants (the levithan & the behemoth) fighting each other and the Ziz is the foward unto dawn cause its so big it can block out the sun, also it is extremely powerful and almost looks like its going to destroy everything on sandtrap because its also the creator like MattDGIANT kinda said (he said there was a link to the two through how their both protectors) so yea thats what i think the story is. oh yea and you see my sig? how do i make the pic bigger?
off topic a little, but when your at photoshop or imageshack, theres a resize button, it says like. 720 x 360, or something
What about the ruins on each side? You know, out in the deserted areas. Maybe there's something there. Same with the crashed covey ship.
