    indeed this is what foundry should look like, it is very sexy, team slayer is very fun, great job good sir, this should be in matchmaking in place of the default foundry.

    Better than the original, a lot better, I hate foundry. The rocket area is great. Nice job man, It does look a little like Tension too, your right.

    This thread had a solid 5 rating with 6 votes, now it has 7 votes with a rating of 4.43. You do the math, that means this person rated it a 1 star...

    For the record, the star rating system above all threads is for the thread. It says thread rating when you are over it, not rating for the map or for the person that wrote it. Some rate it just for the map or the thread or take both in consideration. What ever way you do it... I would appreciate if those, or the one person in my case, that rate things so terribly at least make a case for why it was done. 1 star reads terrible, right next to that one star. If you are rating off the map saying it was terrible? Are you saying my skills forging are terrible? I’ve seen worse. Are you rating off the thread? I’ve seen worse as well.

    To the one person that rated the thread or the map terrible. I would like to hear an opinion on the matter. If you don’t have a good enough reason to state one then don’t rate it either. Thanks...

    I might be alone in this, but I've always liked the default Foundry except for the random bumps and such that come from an unmerged non-interlocked map. Except the "offices" where an oddball or shotgun camp could be set up with no way to breach, I think the map is quite good.

    Most common complaint I hear about Foundry is that all its power weapons are in one side of the map; but I always thought it was very clear that that is where the action was intended to happen. You have the spawn bases that are decently well covered, with several BRs, a shield sucker, and a bubble to mount an offensive, and then you have the rocket tunnel and the sniper spawns for the other team to defend.

    The give and take gameplay fighting over the rocket and sniper spawns, and the 2 level jump around vertical gameplay has always appealed to me. Seeing the map done with a proper forger's love makes me happy :)

    After a short play through, that upside down open box with the signs placed half a foot out from the entrance to rocket hallway... It annoys me.
    My only other complaint is where have all teh hiding spots gone? :'(

    Very interesting and well-done idea. I assume you have a full spawns system, and as for weapons...? Same weapons as the original?

    This map has some things about it that are good but could be cooler if there are changes.I see that you interlocked some things but not everything.If you interlocked more of the things it would look pretty nice.I give you props for making it on the day of the update.Pretty nice 3.5/5

    i dont understand why people think this map is so amazing. Theres zero creativity. he took the original foundry, merged some things, added a few aesthetic things, and thats it. who cares, foundry sucks, this isnt gonna be any better

    this is such an improvement to the regular foundry. it looks like it could b pun to play on unlike foundry. it has the feeling of foundry but its so much more pretty. idk if u used geomerging, but if u did on that slanted box on the backside of the rockets, it looks really even

    Thanks for the comment, I WAS, one of the people that didnt like foundry, but the more I got intament with it in the revamp the more respect I had for the map. I dont mind at all if I get Foundry in MM any more. In fact, the reason why I wanted to do it was because 1; I didnt like foundry and thought it could be improved. That was what bungies 1st intention was when giving us forge. I thought why not do it and see what happens. 2; I realized that no one would think to do it at that level, forgehub style and really spend some time on it. I would be the first, I mean come on its foundry right, but then because it was foundry I figured its also a great way to pay some respect back to it you know, an over hall to the map that started it all.

    That box is as far up as it can be to the signs, and the signs where never touched. The fact that it is now open rather than closed may be throwing you off.
    About the hiding spots, if any thing there are more, more places to hide, more cover, and more ways to move around. The only thing I could think of when you say hiding spots would be taking the lift some place. It has been removed.

    Dont know how to do it. I think this is at least as good as the original in anyone's opinion if not better. It is not glitched either, So it could work in MM.

    Spawn system and weapons are the same as the original.

    I would say that over 80% of it is interlocked, maybe even more, So it really cant get that much more. I mean come on, Im not going to interlock the crates.

    Thanks! I didnt know people are thinking that highly of it for this type of reaction to come out. Wow, thats cool, so thank you. I think that I gave foundry a, respectable.. face lift. To say it took zero creativity would be wrong to say. It wasnt suppose to have major changes to it. The rocket area change is big enough and that involves some creativity, not zero creativity. Im sorry that you feel this way man. If anything for you, look at it as a tribute to the map that made it all possible. Question? Have you ever changed something in a map you made? Well arent these forums for showcasing and improving maps. If you say foundry sucks, this isnt going to be any better, than why are you here? Because most are her to showcase work and help each other improve on maps and talents. Your attitude about it is all wrong bro. I took something and tried to fix it, thats why people care, Its a noble cause if you will, Its what bungie first wanted forge to be. I believe it to be an improvement.

    It is geomerged, Its the first thing Ive ever geomerged too. I would like to thank Ivory Snake for the 5 minute lesson he gave me one night. He showed me the ropes real quick, I never tried it and didnt know how to do it really. Thanks Ivory Snake

    very nice i would choose this over foundry anyday... does ur changes make gameplay better... cause it obviously makes it lookkkkk 100x better... nice job geo n interlocking and giving it a not square design.. i would have interlocked all of the bridges the other way into the boxes like u did on one of them other than that this is very nice and creative nice job

    The changes do effect game play, I believe it to be better, there are more ways to get to the second level. It changes the way you defend yourself. Another change but very small is the fence wall under rocket tunnel. There is an opening so you can cross to the other side. It opens the level up more. That, tied to the extra ways getting to the second level really change the game play. Whats funny is that its not dramatic enough to where it takes getting use too. I just got a little lazy with the bridges, but really I could not do it with all of them anyways, only two other ones. Thanks..

    holy **** when i first looked at this i thought"oh man not another one!" but dude you actually made Foundry Playable.Holy ****.just my ****ing god im in love with you now. i would give you teh premiums for just making this freaking nplayable map playable. the interlocking is beautiful and the geomerging/aesthetics are flawless. bravo good sir. Bravo.

    I'm impressed, Whyher. I love, obviously, how clean it is, but I especially like how you added the vertical depth to it with the really high wall areas and added boxes in the center. Industries fits in as the map name perfectly. I also completely agree with Zachary9990.

    Yes I would love to play that map instead of the original foundry on matchmaking but the only problem really is that some off the walls are way to high. But other than that great remake.

    Thanks man. That was kind of a goal. Take what they did and improve on it. Thats what forge was designed for in the first place. In many ways this is more than just another map to play on. I think what was done and how it was done means a lot more.

    I think adding vertically is an easy and effective way to had to the look of a map. It give such a more epic look to your work. Thank you

    HaHa... If you could give me premiums I would take it, an honor, thank you...

    I didn't realize you changed the locker area/rooms B4. I was in a game and it jacked me up, lol. but I do like it, very cool, both sides are different.
