There have been many theories in the past few weeks where people hve been debating whether or not Longshore is a remake of Headlong or Relic or some brand new map. Some facts are that in the next map pack Bungie said that they werent making any remakes or any improvements to forge. But maybe Bungie is pulling our leg? Anyways what do you think it is? Headlong or Relic or Something else. I personally pick relic if i had to choose one of them.
It could be relic, it could be new. I have no idea where you got Headlong from, though that would be cool.
It's Relic. Very good friend of mine played with a guy who tested it and Citadel, said it was very similar to Relic.
accually ppl have said that it was going to headlong for a while u can c it all over b.net a a lil in FH. most likely it wont be headlong i think because longshore as in a long beach. relic was an elongated beach, if u noticed to was very slim lookin in the overviews of it. but long ans in headlong makes a little sence. Bungie needs to make more urban maps like turf and headlong for halo 3.
I don't know. They really are both great maps. I prefer headlong, but based on the name LONGSHORE, it probably is more likely to be new or off of water like Relic.
Don't realy care, i just hope bungie does a good job and they don't get distracted with their new game. One of the achievements is get 3 kills with a ghost in longshore, there are ghosts.
I thought of Relic first of all when I read one of the achievements was for a ghost kill. The name longshore does fit Relic, I wouldn't mind if it was a remake but I think I'd rather have Death Island!
i would love for there to be a remake of headlong cause that map was just all out fun to play on, but nobody has any proof or evidence yet that there are any remakes and if there were any remakes bungie would soon tell us instead of lying or pulling our leg, but thats just my thought
While I'd like to see a Headlong remake, I don't think it'll happen. Not yet at least. Their last map pack consisted of 2 remakes. I'd expect their next map pack to be devoid of any remakes.
Longshore, I hope it's a Headlong remake but Relic could be a nice map to see remade, I think personnaly it would have some cool forge potential. I'm still looking forward to Orbital and Sandbox the most though, Orbital sounds like it could be a Bordering Action remake.
Even though most evidence points towards both maps, I still think it's relic It might be headlong though, because it had a shore and relic is a island I guess that shore isn't long IDK
thats a halo 1 pc map right? and headlong has like 2 or 3 ghosts. i would like to see a headlong remake too but i loved relic more. orbital sounds like it might be a level based on the campaign mission cairo station from halo2, espeacially with the new trailer out. i thought i remember reading that mythic map pack wasnt gonna have any remakes in it. if they dont, it might be similar to relic or headlong like guardian was very similar to blackout/lockout.
I'm pretty sure it's... neither! There was a community map idea that was posted on B.net and Bungie really liked it and it was on the front page. I can't find the exact article because there are 26 pages of front page news and I don't want to look through that. There are two base, separated by a cave and a "long shoreline" on one side and a cliff on the other side. It's kind of difficult to explain in detail because I didn't create the map, but I'm excited to see if I'm right.
Has anyone taken a gander at the achievement for the Longshore Skull? Like all the others the skull is etched with a symbol, in this case a (Sof)fish getting hooked by a line.
it will probably be something else there have been 2 remakes in the legendary map pack and cold storage was a remake. if it is a remake i would prefer relic.
Friends of mine who won ARecon playing bungie on Assembly at PAX said it was more of a Foundation style map...
