Abandoned Mine Abandoned Mine is an Infection map, it works best with 5-12 people. The map is shaped like a pentagon, with several tunnels leading out from the walls. Best for survival based gameplay, fend off the zombies for 4 minutes, and you win. Zombies spawn inside a small room, where they take a teleporter, which randomly brings them to one of several tunnels leading into the human base. Humans have to work together to survive for 4 minutes against a never ending onslaught of zombies pouring out of tunnels that surround their base. Map features a relatively large arsenal of weapons that the humans can chose from, but only one shotgun, a single mauler, and a lone sniper so that it you can't hide with the best guns the entire time and get an easy win. This is my first map post on forge hub, so if i have violated the terms of use please tell me so i can fix the thread. If you have any suggestions for either the thread, or the map, please let me know. Oh and one last thing, if anyone knows how i can make the zombies spawn 30 seconds or so after the game starts, please tell me how Hope you guys like my map :] Human Base Pictures: The tunnels are covered by pallets to conceal the zombies approaching. The base has short barriers facing most of the tunnels, and a turret faced at the one at the far end, to give the radar-less humans a fighting chance. It is a nice idea but i would make it so then you had more to do and more places to go to as well nice thought
i like the idea so that zombies flank from all sides and u sit like sheep to the slaughter fending them off like a u cover my back thing... i like it... maybe put something more in the human part but it kind of ruins the map... but looks nice... idonno if i saw interlocking or a wall corner... so i wont comment on that... post is nice idea is good map looks good pallets are nice touch... cant download sorry... 4/5 i wanna see u post more...
You could put a crate over the teleporter, and then 30 seconds later, a grav lift or man cannon appears to mve away the crate
i was just about to come and update this thread telling you guys that i did just that, and then i saw this post. Weirdd :]
Nice concept and well made but i think you should spread out the weapons so all the people dont rush that spot and not be able to move,and make it so that the humans cant go through the pallet tunnels because people will camp behind the tele and assanate zombies.
This map sounds awfully similar to antlion defense. here's the link: Antlion Defense Basically it's the same concept, humans have a turret and a small area to hold off while zombies can break in through different surrounding tunnels.
Best way to make zombies come in after 30 seconds is to add a cage that needs a man cannon (spawn in 30 seconds) to get out. Out of the cage would be the teleporters you were talking about. Make sure the spawns are on starting only, or every zombie will spawn in the cage.
It doesn't look from the pictures like there is much interlocking but there probably is anyway. Nice map idea btw
