I finally got a gaming program. The dumb kind.

Well now I have one, I can create games with it and all, but this is a downgrade from what I've been doing before. My online courses are making me follow this program, so I can't use the one I used to have. It's the same as any other game programmer, but this doesn't allow you to mess with the Script. All I get is the stuff that's already programmed into the game, and use them to make dumb little Pac-Man games. There are some 3D features, but it's nothing cool. I don't get to shoot or blow stuff up. (Seriously, no fun at all)

It's called Multimedia fusion, and the program I was using before was Dark Basic. Dark Basic was much better because it was for designing 3D worlds and games. You could also download attachments free such as the map creator, or character builder. For the professional version of Dark Basic, it was $50. The one I'm using now doesn't allow any of that, and it was $100 with the school's discount. Stupid H4x0rZ.

Now I can't go back to use the other one, because it's a waste of time to stay with my homework, and stay active on the other program.

In the Videogame Design class at my Tech school, you go from alice (a REALLY basic drag n' drop program for beginners) to gamemaker, and now they are in C+ I think. It seems they get a bit more freedom in program choice.

I started making a couple of platform and rpg's with gamemaker. That program kicked some serious ass. You could do coding or drag and drop. (All though it had its own unique coding)

Visual Basic isn't for web, I thought.

You can use it for web, well, not web really. You can use it to make web browsers and crap. I have it, but I didn't actually do anything besides make a web browser with it.
