It was fun, never got boring with a good amount of people, and has been the home to many great Halo memories. I remember the first time I ever played on Blood Gulch. I was seven years old at the time. It was me and my brother, some time in 2003. I remember both of us getting in Warthogs and driving at each other really fast. When we played on it, I just thought it was just another map, but it quickly started to become my favorite. When my brothers or cousins and I used to play, we would play on Blood Gulch nearly every time. The only three maps we really ever played were Boarding Action, Sidewinder, and Blood Gulch, Blood Gulch being my favorite. To me and my brothers, Blood Gulch wasn’t just any other map. To us, Blood Gulch was the best map on the game. It was the map that came to our mind every time we thought of Halo Multiplayer, or even Halo period. We never really cared if we were getting killed, we just played it for fun. I have had tons of memories on Blood Gulch that I would like to live again in Halo 3, like one time, it was Cliff (bfreeze64), my other brother Danny, and my cousin John. 2 on 2 CTF on Blood Gulch. I just remember that game. It is basically the game that stands out, one of my most memorable games on Blood Gulch. Nobody had scored yet and we had been playing for quite some time. I’m pretty sure that Danny and John were taking the flag across the ground on foot (stupid, I know) and I don’t think they scored. Finally somebody scored, and I think time ran out. See, it was fun no matter what. You could be playing with 4 people or 16 people and no matter what it was fun. Then when Halo 2 came out, we were surprised, yet very, very excited to see that Blood Gulch was back, by the name of Coagulation. I’ve also had lots of good memories on Coagulation, but they will never be as good as the memories on Blood Gulch. People say Valhalla is a remake of Blood Gulch. It isn’t. Same with Standoff. As much as I’ve played these two maps, they just don’t seem to be the same. I have never had the same memories on these two maps that I did on Blood Gulch. I’ve never really had any good memories on these two maps. The thing that made Blood Gulch fun was that it was a flat, open area, good with vehicles, fun for sniping, the main battle area changed. It could be at the Blue Base and then end up somewhere completely else. In Valhalla, the main battle area is always on top of the hill. It is hard to drive vehicles due to the hill, so vehicles are basically pointless. It is hard to snipe because of a giant mountain in the middle, so the sniper is forced to go across a mancannon and most likely get killed, so if you really think about it, the map itself is pretty much pointless, and not a Blood Gulch remake. Now about Standoff. You’ve got a small map that has two bases that are complicated trying to get around. There is no Sniper Rifle in Matchmaking, and the map does not ever support Scorpion Tanks. There are not caves, no overshield, the Active Camos are in different places, there are turrets at each base, and one Warthog at each base. I don’t think that it is safe to say the Standoff is a remake of Blood Gulch. I don’t even think that it is safe to say that Standoff is even a successor to Blood Gulch. To me, Standoff is more of a Battle Creek than Blood Gulch, a bigger Battle Creek. On top of all the above reasons, there are lots and lots of fans who would love Blood Gulch back. There are the people in the group that love Blood Gulch, people that don’t know about the group or haven’t joined that love Blood Gulch, and then there’s thousands of people that don’t have bungie.net accounts that love Blood Gulch. Blood Gulch was the most famous map from Halo: CE, and its remake was probably the third most famous map in Halo 2. With this many people that want Blood Gulch back, I think the least Bungie could do is remake it. I don’t know about anyone else, but I think that Bungie should remake it for all of their fans.

Hmm .... Blood Gulch .... The only map I ever played on Halo:CE ,maybe because i don't have it, but still . But its not comming back due to 1: Bungie said that it won't so it won't don't argue with Bungie it's no use and 2: There will (probably) be a bigger outdoor foundry in the next map pack so we will have remakes of it trust me . There you go now don't get started on me that Bungie dosn't always keep their word they will never and i mean never make a remake of Blood Gulch for Halo 3 if you want one you will have to wait for the next map pack to come. End of story.
