You can get quite a few of these songs on Rock Band 2 and even DLC for Rock Band.

The only songs that interest me (and that aren't on Rock Band 2 or DLC) are:

The Doors - “Love Me Two Times”
    R.E.M. - “The One I Love”
Steve Miller Band - “The Joker”

This set list was the last nail in the coffin on if I should get this game. Definitely no sale for me.

Lol Michael Jackson "Beat it" who would ever think that would be on guitar hero. And paramore lol. They are OK. But no santana? He is like the best ever. Oh well guess I'm getting RB.

Sweet. I can't wait to play Float On, Crazy Train, and BYOB.
Still, I've heard from a lot of people that Rock Band 2's setlist is better.
    I havn't seen it though.

I dunno. I'm not really excited by either RB2 or GH:WT's setlists.

I'll probably end up getting WT though, just for the song creator to make some lyric-less Pantera and Slayer songs.

    Re-Education through Labor
    Misery Business

THAT is enough to buy the game.

erm...i wouldve thought it would be the perfect song, it has a killer riff, is well known and popular, and has a solo written by eddie van halen...

on the note of RB2's setlist, i think thats also pretty poor... :(

The games have 2 very different audiences. Rock Band is being very modern and trying to get songs that are popular right now with few classics, while GH focues on the classics and has some recent hits.

awesome! this ones better then 1, 2 , and aerosmith. maybe it ties with 3, except if they put in thunderstruck by ac/dc it would be totally kick-ass!

I'm actually starting to doubt in GH:WT. Activision is seeing to change this game from fun to a business. They are in discussion right now as to make the GHTunes service with the Custom songs have a monthly subscription. That would suck.

Interesting. You must be playing a different game. Rock Band 2 has a very diverse setlist... It has plenty of old and new songs.

Not as many as GH usually does. Rock Band 2, if you look closely, has a setlist leaning toward newer bands and songs. the hardest songs are usually older ones, and they get more recognition than easier songs, but if you look at lower tiers, new bands and songs are everywhere, with few classics to be found.

It's now official; if I don't get this game I'm going to scream and cry and cut myself. This setlist is too awesome. Could have picked better songs for a few of the artists, but there's more than enough to keep me happy.

I'm probably going to buy it simply for the Tool songs.

Tool are my all time favourite band. They win. At everything. Win win win. The fact that Adam Jones himself helped design the special 'Tool' themed arena makes this game a must on my list.
