Another non-interlocked map by me! If you don't like it, then get out. This is my best map by far, and the main features are it's sniper tower, and it's man-cannon. Weapons: Battle Rifle Gravity Hammer Spartan Laser Plasma pistol Brute Shot Sniper Rifle Energy sword Needler Mauler Assault Rifle Equipment: Power Drainer _______________ This map is mainly made for slayer, but can be used for several other types. Another recommended type would be team slayer, oh yea. The map is well-rounded, and helps provide fun whether your on the top floors, or the bottom. When your on the top floors you don't have much cover, but you can see many of your enemies. When your on the bottom floor you can't really see your enemies, but the boxes and crates provide cover for you. I spaced the weapons out, put them in the most logical place, and made sure none of them would rule the map alone. The sniper is up top, but it's hard to snipe people below with all the obstacles. The same for the laser. The sword location allows you to camp, but if someone knows your there you can easily be fragged. The gravity hammer is in the center, but not too useful when the map is wide open. The starting points for Team Slayer are in the two sections of the map where you would usually start off when playing the default map Foundry. Then the re-spawn points are set up all over the map to make sure no one spawn kills. The Hot-Spots, from my point of view, are going to be located on the middle, and bottom levels. And now for pictures. I'll guide you through my map by showing text below the picture. Pictures are courtesy of Nemihara Left Side spawn Right Side Spawn. Each side has a brute shot by their first spawn, a long with a BR. If you climb up the stairs when you first spawn, you'll end up here. There's a power drainer there, and by the wall is a BR. If you decide not to take the stairs, there is a tunnel that leads to the sword. The sword room, also know as the doom room, is where the sword lies. If you are ever to get it make sure you're the only one there, or if there is one person, camp there. Taking a view from the left side you can see the path-way to the Sniper Building Heading towards the building there is a needler inside of it, along with a couple of crates, and some broken doors. Watch out for campers hiding behind them. Taking the stairs up to the bridges you'll see there are a couple of other ways to get up here. You can't block people from getting up. Getting to the top level, the laser spawns. You'll also be visible to almost everyone when you are up there. Then if you take the pathway on the Right Side spawn, you'll see the man-cannon. There are two ways into the man-cannon, if you follow the fence walls you'll get there. The second way is if you follow the A sign in front of the man-cannon. This leads up to the Sniper spawn. Now this building is a bit crooked, and even messy, but I apologize. There are two ways up to the Sniper spawn. You can take the man-cannon, or you can use the bridges by the building. Map Overview. If you drop down to the bottom level you'll see the Gravity Hammer. Now time for Action Shots! (All action characters are Nemihara, no refunds) Ok, all done. I hope you enjoyed! This map was made before I thought about putting interlocking into my maps, so it's not the best ok. I recommend playing this map with the standard 5-10 players. Interesting name... Anyways, the map looks nice. Especially considering there's no interlocking. But is there nothing you could do about those dastardly campers?! I'd also recommend taking out the Hammer: Having three close-range weapons seems like overkill.
um well the layout is really really nice... like the different levels... it needs more interlocking... weapon layout seems good from what i can tell every thing is nce needs more pop some aesthetics to it... n maybe some color (oversheild and invis in walls cough*** cough***) dont get me wrong i like the map alot im not being harash its just that critisism is all that helps us grow... i didnt mention things u did good b/c u already no...
I like the layout, but I prefer interlocked maps. Non-interlocked maps just appear sloppy and give the impression that there wasn't much effort put into the map.
looks okay. There really doesn't look like there isn't any cool stand-outish aesthetics. Also it would look better if you flipped the bridges and maybe added some more cover. That would increase enjoyment for the gameplay and make the map feel much more clean. You must be a little new to forging seeing no interlocking. But even without it you seem to have a pretty clean and decent map. I'm sure once you learn to merge and geomerge you will be well on your way to greater and better maps. 3/5

N33Dz MOAr 1N73RL0X!!!! just kidding =) I like the map very much! It looks pretty smooth for a non interlocked map and has some neat designs. I like the bridges (flip em) and I like the area around the power drainer. These days there's no reason to not interlock your map. It would look much cleaner and play smoother. Decent map... 3/5 and dont rate your own map, thats just lame >=(
4/5 for me i think you should have the more powerful weapons in the middle of the map so anyone has a chance of getting them
I can not edit my map, but I do thank-you for your opinion. As for the other people, don't rate the map based upon it not having interlocking. I purposely didn't interlock because I took it as a challenge to make a map that works well without interlocking.
It seems like you made an extremely, nice, non-interlocked map. But as I someone before me said, it seems like there are too many power weps.
Snipers usually come in pairs, I only put one. The gravity hammer is almost useless, and the sword is hard to get. What more do you want?
