Yep, you got owned. I was like, look an open crack, ooh I have one plasma, lol Rick's face is blue. I enjoyed playtesting with Rick even though I didn't have a mike at the time. I actually used the grav lifts stragetically. In Hill it cuts of players routes to the top. Generally more intelligent players will use the grav lifts to be less predictable. A couple nades later and you control the top. The grav lift also serves to deliver the trip mine at opponents feet which is lolerific.
I really enjoyed this map, the grenade geometry involved in the frag bounces really has an effect on the gameplay and has had a possitive effect on my gameplay in matchmade games. From playing this map I have learnt to look for more subtle ways to get a grenade into the places I want them and have become more skilled at getting them there. Also the multi layered central structure has a tactical depth to the map which from an MLG point of view with high levels of communication makes the map a real joy to play.
I love this map I think that the elevator is cool, also the danger meter. However i can get out of this map....if you really want to know send me a pm(i know there is nothing much you can do because its already featured
When the few rare teaser pictures came out a while back, I could have sworn that little ||V|| with the teleporters was a little Easter Egg left by Matty or something. I never would have guessed Cosmic Rick. I think this map is pretty sweet although I can never seem to win a game of CTF on here... I don't know why... Anyway really nice work Rick, but please leave out the danger meter next time, it distracts me everytime I run by it.
Everybody: We all know the map is escapable. We've been forging for months now. How can you think we don't know these things? It's also 'illegal' to escape the map during play in the tournament, so it's been taken care of. The map was left open like it is for aesthetic and lag-minimization purposes. If you're actually trying to help, then: thanks. But WE KNOW. Lol.
really? i mean he wasnt the 1st to do tele lights, but Im pretty sure he's the 2nd, as well as the 1st to actually write with the lights.
I think if you're new to forgehub, you don't have a full understanding of the chronological order of events that have taken place here. They think whichever map they see first was made first. I'm going to have to write something up for kicks explaing the order of kick ass maps and their discoveries. Anyways, I play my match on this beast tonight. Hopefully my grenade whoring ways will pull me and my teammate to the top. Fingers crossed.
omg this is a great map like yukon but this is better in my mind looks like better gameplay but it still looks awsome geomerging and merging great job
this map is visually good but no offense (sp?) its not good for flag. i reccomend this map for slayer and team slayer games. but it is very small so dont get a big party 8/10
great map love it i was playing with my friend mitch that cam over shootiing me all ova the place so i decided i throw a plasma and hope for luck the first one miss but it made a nice little mist for cover over throu the second one but it ricothed off a wall landed on top of his head and blow up he got so made cause it was 23-5
