It's such a good map and has so many great ideas, that I decided to try one of it's ideas. As you may have guessed I used the conveyor belt as my main idea. It's a very unique and creative aesthetic that seems to have captured the minds of many map makers. looked really nice its nice to see another conveyer belt pallets take u out of the blocky dull look of foundry and into a wolrld of IMAGINNNNATIONNNorz... liked the layout taking pallet parade to a playable deminsion (sounds like a qoute to me) liked the snipers.... looks great feels different layout is right playability i will test n comment if more needs said EDIT: if u do a v.2 put a place for the pallet remains to go.... if u could i think the scraps get in the way... just a thought
Your an impressive forger Eric0, all of your maps are cool looking, the interlocking is sweet and i like the layout, of course pallet parade has the ultimate conveyor belt, but yours seems to fit for what you were doing.
The map does not have everything merged as you say, But I know what you mean by it, You mena "Interlocked," Meged is when you put objects into the ground. The map has potential. So it's 4.4/5 from me. There is nice merging and interlocking but More pictures would also help or is that it? I'll download and come back later with a review. =]
yeah, I guess pallet parade has the best functioning one.. it's amazing how hard it is to make just one conveyor belt... I had to redo the conveyor walls once, plus it's at a high spot... man, i'm probly never going to make one of those again
ha ya i know, i tried to make a rotating map, and ended up with a **** conveyer belt that just crumpled, it takes forever. what made pallet parades work was the pallets were like engraved with the ground, like cosmic took the time to make a lower platform, but thats what weve come to expect from him, and its unfair to compare any maps to pallet parade. So I apologize for that.
Flattery Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Cosmic Rick should feel pretty good about inspiring you to make this map. It's very clean, the conveyor belt looks great, and it looks like it will play well. I would like to see someone take the conveyor belt a little further though. This one looks nice, but it is fairly similar to the original.
This looks very good. I would love to download and learn how to make a conveyor belt. I can't though. But the map is perfect, 5/5 and I would love to play.
nice map i loved pallet parade (and still do dont shoot me cosmic) this mpa has an interesting place, its like a semetrical pallate parade instead of having it be a low/highcround map, its all the way even i like this it seems like it will be fun
Seems like you love to make maps a lot Erico. I really though had hoped there was going to be more on the map but I hadnt played it so it may be rich in gameplay. Anyway I hope you continue to make maps and you clearly always will. Good luck with your next project and I will be there to check up on it.
thx HaloStriker, I guess when you saw it it didn't have weapons and stuff... and it was in forge... so now it's a lot better and is a blast in custom games. oh yea and I like the new sig, looks awesome EDIT: merged, interlocked it's all the same thing to me. I say geomerged for the stuff that gets put into the map geometry. And there are 13 different pics up and a preview video... so I guess that's it EDIT 2: I'm coming out with a V3, it's called Focus and will have some extra aesthetics, more lifts, and the game variant objects will be fixed
i dont think he copied, cuz in pallet parade the pallets move regardless and judging by the video they move only when the oversheild is gone, which looks pretty awsome
