Secret Room On The Ark

Wow. Very nice find! Did you find this yourself or get it from somewhere? And it looks like those rooms on the second to last level

 

Yeh, Bungie was too lazy to make a new ship so they just remodeled this one and added a bunch of flood crap in it. And I remember seeing this on HIH earlier.

 

Thats interesting, maybe we will discover more hidden rooms from cutscences that are on levels

 

Wait, I don't get why they'd even make a secret room, like somewhere that no one would ever look (''cept the guy that made the vid, lolz) ? What's the point?

spectacular find! I watched the high res video, but I just had to do it for myself, so I did - and it was awesome!

I was a bit disappointed when "Ghosts of Reach" didn't play while I was in the room though...

 

It was used in the opening cutscene where the ship master controlled his fleet. It takes less memory to use the map in the cutscene than to make a video, the whole cutscene was real time BTW. If you do it right, you can also get into the space fight scene with the pan cam.

I'm having the same problem for all embedded youtube videos right now. Someone needs to look into this. Youtube isn't down so either it is us, forgehub, or the middleman software that lets us embed vids here.

 

They do a similar thing in Half Life 2: Episode One Chapter 2.
