okey dokey, i decided to try and make a castle crashers signature. so here is the product! i know, its a bit basic and the render is jagged..(but for 30 some-odd minutes its okay right?) but please leave some CnC so i can get better. im also gonna try to make one with all 4 characters in it. ill post that in a new thread.
That took 30 minutes? My world one took like an hour! Anyway I haven't seen much of ur work so I'll assume this is one of ur first so for a first it is decent. The BG is EXTREMELY boring though but the color matches the render fairly well. Also the text fits. But you may want to add some other stuff to the BG... I would suggest a explosiony C4d coming out of the render... That would be cool.
There aren't any effects that I see...You should add a border and work on your text, and try using all defaults instead of going and downloading pointless instruments of doom like brushes...
Not to be mean but... Your render is choppy, and your background is overall dark. Adding some C4D's in the background which is what I did and doing some color blending (which I didn't do), is something that would improve it greatly. Other than that, I would do the text in a different color. Just be a bit more creative and you shouldn't have a problem.
1) To add a border, create a new layer and press "select all". Then press Select>Modify>Contract and set it to 1-4 pixels. Then press Select inverse to make the perimeter of the image your selection. Draw the border with any brush you want then. 2) He means use only the original brushes that came with Photoshop. 3) I think that the sig is OK. It is a bit plain, and empty, and the render could use some work.
i dont know how anyone could hate thos castle crasher dudes but as for ur sig like i think terrax said way above me the background is pretty dull
He did say he made it. (top o' the post) And I think that there's nothing going on in the background, the text seems too "default", Crashin should be Crashin', and brighten it up a bit. And make sure you DL the render as a PNG so that its a higher quality, and then save and upload the sig as a PNG.
Quite a cool sig you got there. I would prefrably choose a white background wit or without a border as it looks cleaner. Then again, that's my opinion. I have also noticed that Reynbow has a signature similar to this. It's got a picture of the green and white armoured guy instead of your red and white guy.
woah, someone used my name for a sig on page one. well, i like your sig, but maybe you could change the background color? u know, red on red, just seems to bland. maybe orange with blots of colors?
