Well, yes. But think about it, no one has proved that it will end, and no one actually knows. I'm sure if the human population knew the world would end we would be in chaos. But simply because it is suggested does not mean the world would go in complete anarchy. Bottom line, if the world does it no one will know for certain that it would, so no one would go crazy. If there was proof then the world would be very different right now.
I think a big nuclear exsplotion will happen in 2012 if freaking countries wont get along such as North Korea plus i think the london olympics will be canceled
I don't think the world will end in 2012 either but I was doing a geography project and I found a report that said there is supposed to be a very large CME ( Coronal mass ejection - similar to an EMP) from the sun in 2012 that will wipe out electronics, cause massive black-outs and destroyed satellites - I thought it was ironic.
Theres a lot of stuff happening in 2012. Like they say the there will be a massive polar shifts. (read up on magnetism of Mid-Atlantic Ridge) Which will cause some chaos, but i'll tell you one thing, we'll be around for quite some time.
The Sun is at its lowest point in the sky on December 21st. So maybe they thought that the Sun would hit the Earth on that day? Only a theory...
I think we are gonna CREATE arself a global extinction we are all gonna freake out about this theory we are all gonna be causing riots, stocking up on food, buying gas, driving away from the ocean, probably at this time the gas prices will be soaring sky high we will freak out people will be killing eachother commiting suicide i don't know but i am kinda freaking out myself already this is such a scary thing to talk about. * did you kno they are creating a movie about this in 2009 i can't imagine how the people are gonna react to this*
The world will end in 2012. Just like how the bird flu turned into an epidemic. Just like how the world ended in 2000. Just like how MRSA was this "new" killer virus. Just like all those miracle cures and diets on TV that "work". Just like how Walt Disney was "frozen in time". (or w/e) Sounds plausible. =D
The Esoteric Agenda by Ben Stewart touches into this subject and it has factual information not what he thinks will happen. In it it says the way we live in this world will end and a new age of peace will begin but before that happens billions of people will die by multiple ways. The Esoteric Agenda talks about many other things that are happening that people don't know about but most of them relate to the end of the world. I have seen several programs on the History Channel and National Geographic on this subject, and thought a lot about it. And I came to the conclusion that I am going to pretty much ignore it altogether. I know, a pretty lame way to look at it. But since I'm only going to be 18 when this Apocalypse is supposed to happen I can't really do anything to change/stop it. I mean, if I freak out about it then I will be miserable during my last days. Not cool. But if I keep livin my life as if it was not going to happen then at least I have a chance to be happy. And if we are still livin in 2013 then I can laugh at all the people that did freak out. And this is all depending on whether or not the World ends in 2012 at all.
Man only contributes 0.017% of greenhouse gases that have ever existed in our atmosphere. Also to add, one major volcanic eruption the likes of Mt. Who are you to decide that god even knows that humans exist? It is completely ignorant and conceded to think that a power great enough to create an entire unverse with diverse complexions in physics and biology, would even be aware of your existence, and it would absolutely not have the time (if "it" even has the intelligence of dedicating "time" to anything, or in this case, even a will of it's own) to decide when a world would ends, seen as how there are billions upon trillions of planets and stars with many being destroyed every second do to natural processes. The world will end when the given circumstances allow it to. NOBODY could possibly "decide" this. And as for the 2012 shenanigans, i think it will be an interesting day, and if the world ends, oh well. lulz
