Yes, yes yes. I'm so thrilled. Wasn't Halo 3 originally rumored to have 2000GS? Still this is awesome. Although I'm not looking forward to everyone in Lone Wolves asking for achievements.
Wait. doesn't Microsoft only allow an extra 250GS for DLC only. Obviously they have a favorite child.
That, or you could realize that Halo 3 currently has 3 separate DLC packs (Heroic, Legendary, supposed Mythic) and 3 x 250GS is 750GS.
Well well well, I'm hoping we get some new armor or somthing to conpensate for all the work we'll spend on these achievments. I still need overkill & two for one. :F
That 7th one, where you have to enter a ranked or social match with 7exp on the 7th of a month, looks a lot of us are going to have to start new accounts and do everything all over again...
Actually, the 7 exp thing is going to be easy, remember we get individual exp in each list after AU2.
By god he's right! 6 new maps! Wow, I was only expecting 3....longshore has me rediculously excited...as well as sandbox for obvious reasons. I wish Bungie would make an official statement soon, filled with even more goodies of information. Great find though....I'm going to be distracted all day now.
Its funny, I think Furious already completed the Ghost one for GoO's "Ghosts in Ghosts" campaign run. We'll probably have to do it again though. We shall see!
This is interesting. I can't wait till they make an announcement on all this ****. The new maps sound awesome.
What is Longshore? How can you get excited for something just by the name? (Aside from Sandbox, that is) A lot of the GoO has done it. Just yesterday G043R and I did it MLASO style. (Multiplayer Legendary All Skulls On) That will be one of the funnest achievements I think. As well as Tank Drop. lol. Bungie just loves dropping tanks on people with monitors.
Lonshore just reminds me of Relic or the Beach area of Zanzibar...I mean Last Resort. I just enjoy the theme I guess you could say. I hope that they have an urban themed map in there somewhere. Those are generally loved as well.
Imagine a covenant city, that would be epic. But this looks like its shaping up to be one of the best things to happen to halo in a long time.
Wow, I heard rumours of there being more acheivements released. My friend will be happy if there is actually going to be a hammar spree medal...he's obsessed with hammars!? Should be good for dragging more players into Halo and to keep them hooked - I probably will lol XD
Something tells me this is fake but we can hope. The fact that it says 9/25/08 makes me doubt it, if they were going to release a new map pack within in this month, I would say they would have released more info on it
