I believe it is. I've been browsing ForgeHub since it's creation and have been loosly following the evolution of the site. Being a normal lurker, I checked out the daily featured maps and checked them outmyself, keeping the ones I thought would provide me with some really fantastic games. Some have, some haven't, the world turns, the sun shines, etc. Forge is familiar ground for me, as I've played around with console FPS map makers in the past with the TimeSplitters and FarCry series. Even though Forge is not quite like complete Map Makers, I am rather fluent in the ways of map flow, gameplay balance, and the ins-and-outs of design. I'm finally making my introduction in hopes that I can become a part of the Forge community and give my experiences, knowledge, and insight as well as gain experiences, knowledge, and insight. Introductions are alien to me, though, so I'm no good at these. I do have a current Forge map I'd like to test out thuroughly some time and maybe I can get around to posting it up and getting some games played out to make my first contribution to the community.
Ah, Thank-you. I'm no stranger to forum etiquette, so you don't have to worry about that. I'll have to take my time to read each section's rules, though, to get better acquainted to ForgeHub itself.
This is madness! Madness? No.... THIS! IS! SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Get used to those words, you will need them.
Haithar, another Traineefor the great community of ForgeHub. Post a bit, get some friends, and be happy you reigstered.
I wish you had joined sooner! I'd love to hear your thoughts on map flow and design some time. You sound as though you're fairly knowledgeable on the subject. I'd be interested in checking out what you have so far.
Hi, nice to see you around here. Have fun, post sometimes, make some maps and remember to read the rules. I hope you have a good time here!
