lol, I always wanted to make waterfalls in FCI:E but that tool was never available. I hope they can add a tool like that in FC 2. It can really make for some great gameplay and scenery when building a map... P.S. I've seen that 20 minute long video too. That made me want to buy FC even more, im getting so confused, Fable 2 or FarCry 2?
I believe Fable is one of those games that you really want to get lost in. They occupy a hell of alot of time, just running around doing pretty much nothing, but it's great nevertheless. Far Cry has been made as a 'no bullshit game'. By that i mean it's just a constant action fight from start to finish. If you're using the editor, then you won't feel your time is bieng wasted. Both are great games, obviously i would say Far Cry, but i'm getting both.

Multiplayer Information: MP Part looks like Call of Duty 4. Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and a mission-based Mode. 2 teams on 14 different maps 6 different classes with different weapons and equipment The player gains experience points by killing enemies which he can use for weapon upgrades and so on. Day- and Night-Cycle as also Fire propagation and the Weathersystem will take part in the MP.
From Someone who played it at PAX: Maybe you guys should chill out a little bit with the hype, you're all going to disappoint yourself. Sounds like the graphics aren't as good as some of the pictures, and the AI sounds terrible. Hopefully they fix this.
Meh, look at Halo's campaign. There are problems with it, but people still play the game for Forge and Multiplayer. The only thing there that might effect those aspects of the game would be graphics, and I could care less about those.
same here the AI in farcry has always been 2 steps behind the compitation im expecting the AI to be absollutly shitty but the MapMaker is its saving grace and last i checked when playing with other people they dont randomly run into trees they take cover and everything im going to play the campaign AFTER i play the hell out of the MM and MP
Well yeah if some of the negative gameplay aspects mentioned in the begining carry over to multiplayer (excessive pulling bullets out of wounds) than no one will be able to appreciate the map due to awful gameplay. If the game basically plays like cod4 than awesome, the map editor will own. Singleplayer in the original far cry's were awesome though with the whole sneak around aspects and such. EDIT: Plus I forgot to mention how incredibly sucky the far cry instincts predator gameplay was on 360, that had a cool map editor too, but gawd that game sucked in multiplayer. I'm waiting for other people to buy it and read the reviews and whatever. The game obviously has a lot of potential.
im pretty sure you dont have to pull out a bullet for every wound i think that only happens when you are near death(screen goes almost completly red) anyways is there going to be a demo or anything released because my friend says he played a demo of it in Vancouver and he said it sucks sooooo is there a demo or not?
Its something you do to heal yourself, and its something caused by you pressing a button, not automatically. It is the equivalent of 'painkillers' in max payne. Were not entirely certain it will even be part of Multiplayer, it might just be a SP aspect.
