Another Ambush on Security Tunnel

    Heehee, when I got a game of this going, some guys learned the hard way that the beginning of the tunnel is a bad camping spot. 4 guardian kills, then an infection overkill.

    This reminds me of convoy ambush for some reason. Anyway, I will give this map a 4/5 because it sounds fun and looks good, but sounds like you stole the idea from convoy tunnel.

    you know what, i kinda agree with you on that. i dont think he stole the idea though, but i see some similarities between it and convoy ambush. a tunnel, ambush, yeah

    My and my caln uses this to rank up... The better teamwork, the higher you rank... How many times have you seen someone go 5 min? We must have beaten the record by now.

    If you have easily survived the five minutes several times, you should probably tweak the gameplay a little like making the humans slower. Also, it all depends on how well the zombies play. As a zombie, the best way to slow the humans down is to attack early on in the tunnel, not wait at the very end to ambush them. Remember to break the pallets and then jump down as the humans are passing the hole in the ceiling. You should be able to take down at least one human, but many times because they don't respond fast enough, you can kill two humans. That's why as a human you must react quickly enough when a zombie strikes from above so that only that one human is killed. Just remember, the more challenging the better. But it's good to hear that you are playing the map and posting a comment here, thanks.

    *The gametype has been changed so humans have 75% speed and 150% gravity. Also, the time limit has been lowered to 3 minutes so that rounds are shorter.

    Yea, I'll switch up the gametype, you recomend any other guns?

    Bluejayfan94, magnums would probably be the most challenging. If you want, try it out and get back to me about it.

    Sounds good, or instead of changing weapons, maybe increase strength on zombies O.O

    I'll get back to you with these changes. Though, right now I'm going to the movies.

    uh, this map looks like crap. just a tunnel? boring!!! nobody wants to play a infection game in a stupid tunnel. r u kidding me?

    breszhnev, you are very negative and should not comment on anything because you are a pointless being. Don't comment unless you have played it. This map is very intense for both the humans and the zombies. There are so many places you can get ambushed by a zombie. You need to keep on your toes as you proceed through. Sam is right though, you don't need to interlock to make a good map. The map is perfect the way it is. Very nice game type and everything. This is one of my favorites and my friends that I play with on this map think this is great. Good job on making this incredible map. 5/5 stars!

    Yo, Sam. I was trying different settings- For more of a challenge, make it so Zombies can take 100% damage, and humans start with pistol and SMG. It is really tough.

    Everybody, I have posted overview pictures of the map and also a video clip of one round of gameplay. Check it out, I think it's a great representation of the fast paced gameplay that this map is all about. The video link is at the bottom of the post. Oh yeah, I posted the challenging gametype (No Survival). Keep in mind that the recommended gametype is probably challenging enough. Only play with the challenging gametype if you and your friends have developed very fast reflexes from the regular gametype. Humans have smgs and magnums, and zombies have 100% damage resistance, so you probably won't be able to get very far into the tunnel.

    Great action clips. Those will probably convince ppl to download this map. I like the blueprint of the map, howd you do that?

    Photobucket. It's just an effect you can put on pictures, it's not complicated.

    *IMPORTANT NEWS- I updated both gametypes and changed the time limit to three minutes. That way if people do manage to get to the turrets, they have less time til the round is over. This way the ones that make it to the turret have a greater chance of surviving til the end of the round, and that's the way it should have been. Besides, rounds usually end way before that because usually no one makes it to the turret, so it should be better that way. Rounds are short, three minutes instead of five minutes, and there are eight rounds per game. I also edited both videos, by adding music , so be sure to check them out and leave a nice comment.     Great idea, after a while of running into the turret room and dying, it starts to lose its fun. Good cutoff point for you to have a reward for making it, without brutalizing the zombies.

    downloaded this map and played it countless times. Not one bad part of this game. Everybody loves this game. It doesn't matter if you linked pieces all the way everywhere, the game is perfect and flawless. Keep up the good work! 5/5!

    A mod cleaned out my post, so HERE is another one! Okay, this map is horrible. Don't post a map to Forge hub unless you:

    -Interlock
    -Balance game play
    -Don't make stuff sloppy

    If you do what's stated above, you will never receive harsh comments like this one that I am currently typing. This map needs so much work that trying to fix it would take longer than trying to make a clean, fresh, new one. So when your making a map, TAKE your time, or no one will download it. <<<<This is the truth...

    EDIT: I DID see some interlocking but some parts ARE sloppy. Clean those areas up. Even a moderator said this needs work.

    Sam love the new vids. Especially the ones with me in them. I tell all of you, one you know how to play this game/map the gameplay is unbelievably epic winly. Sam shud seriouzly get r3c0nz 4 this. And he's right it is awesome watching humans gettting mauled by zombies in 2 seconds.

    The last map edit I submitted had some errors which I went back and fixed. If you have already downloaded this map, I highly recommend downloading the latest map variant and gametype. I put the grav-lift back into the map because it is a necessary obstacle which slows the humans down before entering the weapons room. I deleted the teleporters usable only by the zombies because they weren't really necessary, and with the budget I filled in certain cracks in the map. The center of the big tunnel now has more flooring, which consists of interlocked wall corners. I probably will update the pics to show off the latest edit. Keep in mind that the editing mostly fixed aesthetics, so gameplay should still be the same.
