The entries have been collected and it's now time for the voting. To make your vote post in this thread stating which you believe is the best signature and your reasons why. So why am I not using a poll? Well there are two answers Firstly I want to ensure the voting is based solely on the quality of the sigs and not have the voting turn into a popularity contest. You must provide a valid reason with your vote based on the properties of the signature. Any vote without a reason will be disregarded. Secondly the poll system on the forum can only have ten options. There are fourteen entries, and this is the best solution as far as I'm concerned. If you have entered the contest you are free to vote, but naturally you may not vote for yourself. My vote goes to Vinny. I feel a lot of people did the obvious or easy option for themselves. The way Vinny has made his looks great, the orignal stock picture is wonderful and the leaves add a feel of class to the sig and the choice of text was great. Haseo... good lighting and camera effects. ah i'll just say it. it grabs your attention. quickly and effectively. but he still did do some good work with it.
LOCKdown got my vote, one of the few who didn't slap a pretty face for votes. Haseo's stock is already airbrushed enough as it is, meh.
some of theses clearly are not sigs dont you think there should be some kind of size limit? Monsta Masha gets my vote all because bears are cool
LOCKdownN. as soon as i saw these i knew there would be people voting for all the hottest women in the "lust" category. Lockdownn cast that aside and actually made a good signature. i love the whole green theme too. Mallet can we do a theme that won't include hot women?? i think it unbalances the votes cause it completely draws the attention away from good signatures and they just look at the women
That is the first ever vote that one of my sigs has recieved in SOTW! +rep for you kind sir! Anyway, I vote for HellsRequiemAMX simply because the effects and the render go amazingly well together. The text has also been picked perfectly. Its just a great sig.
Wow, I honestly can't decide one... I mean, most of these images suffer from the same problems. 1. Lack of motion or the ability to keep a visual interest. 2. a cenetered design or 3. the image is just a stock image with extra photoshop filters added. In all honesty, I don't think any of these designs are outstanding, in the past I've seen quite good work come from this contest... Now, I'm going to vote for pirate's. The reason is: whereas it seems a bit collaged, which isn't my favorite design technique, it has a nice motion to it and it doesn't suffer from a case of the "centers." Also, mallet, next time could you maybe put the point of the contest in the first post? I mean, I think that might be convenient in case the challenge is using the same stock image or doing something else really particular.
I vote Lockdown, first of all I like his text the most lol, and his borders. His sig is nice, plus the render blends good with the backround.
PlugInFiend That sig is just complete wrath, there is no other possible interpretation of it. Also the background and lighting is just great and really flows with the lighting (which I feel is the best symbol for wrath).
