I couldnt tell you the exact price but I use and many professional Machinima guys use Pinnicle Studios. It is an amazing program with endless possiblilities. I would suggest that one.

Pinnacle is a very good program, i bought mine for 30 bucks, it came with the capture device, and the video editing program. I used to make all my videos on Pinnacle, but now i switched to Sony vegas.

Pinnicle is the way to go though.

    Adobe After Effects?!!?!

Anyway, it's not the cracks that ****ed up your friends' computer, it's them.

Obviously they don't know where to look/virus scan/scan period.

    -_- serious?

Anyway, i never really cared for Pinnacle, and now that Avid bought it out, I don't know what to think of it. They might have made it better.

I would save up for Sony Vegas Pro 8. I used 7 on my home computer, and it is great, and I have tried 8, and it is very good. I predict it will be up there with Final Cut and Avid not far from now. But then again, it is expensive...
So ya, I would try and work towards a Vegas version, but pinnacle might be good in the mean time.

It's around $400 I think, but i got mine... a non recommended way. Now i need to 'purchase' it again for my new computer. But I think you can get a student version for less (if they have one) and it will serve your purpose.

Yes it is, if they're not intelligent enough to find a working crack, they don't deserve it.

That's what I meant, not After Effects. Possible PLE or Trial version so you can get a run around.
