Is it spam to post saying I received negative rep for the post with the comment being "spam". I think the person was just trying to give out a lot of rep so he could double rep somebody again, because he could have used the report button if it was spam. However, i never really thought about if it really was spam. What do you guys think? Also, do you have any solutions to the issue of random repping people so you can rep somebody again?
There is no resolve to the issue just deal with it. But I think that it was slightly spamming because you did not post a solution or anything, and if anyone said that before you posted it then the neg rep was justified. I hope that what you did was honest and the neg rep was given to you because of spam rep. I truly do. If not then you suck! Lolz
I don't think it's spam. Then again, what do I know? I'm the biggest spammer there is on most of the other forums I visit.
Hmm... thats a tricky one. I think that it isn't exactly spam, but it doesn't help the problem exactly either. So it's kind of unnecessary. If I were you I'd just either report the other people or -rep them for spamming. (For me it usually depends on how long they've been at the site. Don't report a newb...)
The post wasnt spam but I'd say this thread would be. If you have an issue with rep, take it up with the mods. If you want to talk about rep; customer service or off topic. Your post wasnt spam, take it up with the guy who repped you and ask them why they neg repped you for spam.
Posting 'your post was spam' is just as spammy as the post. It's like graffiti-ing a sign onto the wall that says 'don't graffiti'.

does it reeeeally matter? it may say "spam" but the guy probably just didn't like your post plain and simple. its just rep anyways..
