Don't take this as an indicator to how bad or good the map is - download it and try it, THEN you can decide. ]My first map i've ever released to the public. This is a toe-to-toe fight game, with only swords. The humans spawn in the arena, waiting for the zombies. The zombies spawn in a small room, waiting for a door to open. If you're a human, be carefull, you only have one life - after that you have to turn against your comrades and fight to the death - again. I hope you like it, I put alot of work into this. looks like fun, but kinds messily interlocked try making a v2 with it being a little neater i like the idea of comeing back to kill your fellow gladeators
i like the idea, but this has been made lots of times. also, there is no weps or anything. i am sorry, but this is bad.

This is very true, the idea of a gladiator arena has been made many times. I did play a 1v1 on this map and looked at it on Forge. It really wasn't anymore unique than most sword fights, other than being in a small circle arena. I suggest making the game more creative, so it's not the same as most gladiator games. Maybe you could edit a v2 into this or post another map. Try adding some cat walks on around on the walls, maybe a second level, or you could even just add some equipment, depolyables, trip mines, etc. Otherwise I guess the gate idea is a good add to your map and the spawns are fine, considering it's a sword fight. 3/5, mainly off for unoriginality and some messy interlocking.

could you possibly show pictures of where each team spawns. from what I see, everyone is able to run around outside instead of inside... pretty good interlocking though...

um very messy interlocking. and an unoriginal idea. good for you if its your first map but if not than oh well 2/5
Well can't say much about this map cuz it's been done many times. Might want to add something more unique to make the map more interesting. Good attempt at interlocking for your first time, but it is sloppy (I can't say much, I'm a n00b at interlocking too).
well the map looks cool and i like it how you have to wait for the door to open to face your opponent unlike others where its fighting from the begining
for something so dam simple its accually really fun one problem when the zombie comes in its really easy for one human to stand next to the door and just assassinate him when e walks in
unoriginal, and also in beginning, you double posted-please dont do that, rule against that. the map looks kinda easy to escape, the idea is kinda lamish, and the gate opens and u are pushed into the side...
This is the same 1 v 1 arena that everyone watches while the others are fighting, I have a feeling that this map has been done more than 100,000 Times on XBL.

It's been done so many times before, but I don't expect you to know that because you're new. You did do two nice little switches there, I'll give you that, and you actually know how to interlock which is good too. However, you have to think about the gameplay, the most important part of a map. What's going to stop a person from waiting at the door while a person spawns(if there aren't multiple rounds that is)? How will no cover/creative landscaping effect the way you play, or how fun it is? In answer to this, many people use what they were "going for" as an excuse for some gameplay issues, as if the map is supposed to be somewhat aesthetic. If somebody says "why is there no cover" and you say "because it's a colliseum" it'd better look EXTREMELY like a coliseum with stands and a throne and a whole bunch of crap like that. Otherwise all they will see is a circle and terrible gameplay.
Sweet map but i downloaded too many other maps and all slots are full but i will definitly try this one. anyone wanna tell me how to merge stuff together?
