Great job Viper, on this map. When i was judging it for the Conditional Forge-Off competition i was amazed what you did with it. The power rods deffinalty gives it origianality so that was a plus. In the end this map was great with the unique weapons, i enjoyed judging it lol.
The "energy rod" idea is amazing. I wish i could have thought of something like that for my maps. Very accurate merging and the double box ramps are outstanding, i have trouble getting a morph in that good. I'll download right away and go try it out on FFA, the most prefered gametype for this map. 9/10. 1 off IMOP because of the size. Post some more maps like this!
I'm glad! Did you try a game on it? I came up with that almost at the beginning, before the design was resembled, so thank you! The double-box ramps came out straight somehow, as one of those ramps were unintentional, while one was. The unintentional one was when i was trying to geomerge a double box straight, but it popped down for some reason, so i grabbed it and saved. It turned out pretty well if i may. Yeah, do that, and report back with gameplay! KotH, Oddball and Slayer, all those FFA versions should work. I just hope i fixed the spawn problem. Tell me if you're having spawn-killing issues.
Interesting map . 6/5 for HLG Viper. I don't know why, but it has a Last Resort feel/look to it. Interlocking/geo-merging looks really clean. D/l'ing already .
Thanks! Yeah, a little bit. It might be the barrier's textures that gives it a last resort feel, or the walls, but i agree I haven't tried it out since after i fixed the spawn areas, could you come back with a quick report of gameplay? FFA should do, any type of FFA.
I'll get to that soon. I'm busy right now, but I'll be done in about an hour (maybe less.) I'll be sure to give a report for you. Anything exact that you'd want to know?
No viper i haven't got to try a game on it, when ever i was on Halo noone was on so yeah. I'll try to get a game on it sometime soon though.
