I know it won't happen, but I want bungie to include a remake of Tsavo Highway in the Mythic Map Pack. I know Avalanche was supposed to be vehicle based but it was terrible for everything else. And what would you want in the Mythic Map Pack?
The third map would probably be the larger foundry map, but not for sure. But does anyone else find Blackout to be crappy? I think it's basically Guardian. But that's just my opinion.
[/facepalm] Guardian was a successor to Lockout but too many people bitched for a true remake to be done. and of course when it was done for them, the majority of players reject it because it isnt the exact same. Its moments like those that really make you [/facepalm]
you hold your face into your palm in a form of releiving frustration and to gather your thoughts. But I get frustrated with the Halo community who scream at bungie for remakes then go on a massive rant on how they screwed it up. People arent aware that they are no longer playing Halo 2 any more.
True. If they want a remake they should go back to Halo 2 and play the original. But I totally agree with you.
Finally some people that agree with me. Remakes are crap. Its a new game and I want new maps. I feel that the Legendary map pack was pretty crappy to be honest. New maps have new experiences, and that is what I want.
I loved the legendary map pack. All 3 maps actually. I was begging for those remakes and Ghost Town is my favorite Halo map of all time. I can only hope that the next map pack is as fun as this one was.
Agreed! What is the point of making remakes? Like I wanna learn new maps and really see what Bungie can do. I don't want remakes AT ALL!
Another map that was a waste, Cold Storage. We had a Chill Out remake on Foundry that was pretty good, I don't know if anyone even can work with Cold Storage in forge. That's a challenge, make a feature worthy map on Cold Storage. And Draw the Line, I really like Blackout, the way you can make floating maps, and Ghost Town, just how fun it is. But Avalanche is basically a crappy version of the sandbox map we always wanted, I mean, objective games are okay, but everything else sucks, amirite, or am I right?
Coagulation Yes, I would really enjoy a REAL remake of Coagulation. Avalanche and Standoff were coined "The Spiritual Successors to Coagulation" by some, but I don't get it. But yes, Coagulation would be awesome. Okay, back on topic, what campaign levels do you think should be remade, was Rats Nest worthy? You tell me.
i agree with you intirely but i just want one remake...blood gulch dammit i hate haveing to play halo1 to play my favorite map they brought back chill out but not coug/BG were they high? but back on topic didnt you think that the dam part in the first level would be a sexy ctf map like multiple forgasms sexy map? ok now back on topic i thot tsavo highway was on of the funnest map ever and if bungie was to do a remake they would screw it up like rats nest
Blackout is Lockout and the only similarities they have are that there both really made for Lone wolves games.
I think what they messed up in Avalanche is that they made it way too base oriented. So, you don't have much room to maneuver in a vehicle. Normally you would get to the center and then either carry on your merry way, or be blasted into oblivion. If they remade something more like Blood Gulch/Coagulation or even something like Infinity from Halo PC. That would be pretty sweet.
Yeah I didn't care to much for the legendary map pack either. I can't really forge easily (Not enough good surfaces and or to small, not enough items etc Complaining to teh max.) and until recently (I decided oh what the hell let me try it.) I never really played matchmaking a lot for quite awhile. But I have to admit on Avalanche with all the specialties the vehicles have, it can be pretty interesting on objective game types if you can get a team that communicates (nicely -.-). I sorta still enjoyed blackout and it is Ninja friendly (You can really get up in some places which I didn't think you could before in Halo 2.). Ghost town is pretty decent. But yeah, I have to admit I'd like to see headlong done. I had alot of good memories driving teh warthog on it, that blown out bridge with the lil gray crane platform...THINGY was pretty cool. But yeah... as somebody said before (sorry bout not quoting X|) Why not jump back on Halo 2 then...Good point.
