I actually thought that Harvey Dent was the best character in the film. First, because I thought his story, his background, and his morals made for the perfect guy to get screwed over by the Joker. Harvey Dent's creation of luck was a great motif for the film. Harvey Dent always had chance on his side, and once the Joker took that away, he was lost. The part of the movie where Harvey Dent says, "It doesn't matter what's right, it matters what is fair." Was in my opinion, the best line of the movie. It showed that Harvey didn't want to be what he became, but he wanted revenge on Jim Gordon. The Second reason I liked Harvey Dent was because he is a bad ass lawyer. I am planning on becoming an attourney, and I admire how he handled the case involving the mafia. When he punched that guy out, that was also insanely cool.
Awesome movie. I thought it was a very good and thought out movie. my favorite part is the pencil trick! lol! Wana see a magic trick? NO! okay, you see this pencil? im sticking it in this table. *grabs head and slams onto pencil* SEE! look! its gone! where did it go? HAHAHAHA! why are you so serious? Wana know how i got these marks? WHY SO CEREAL?
I loved that movie. The whole thing was written and directed perfectly. The dialogue and camera angles were fantastic. My favorite part was how they made him look like two face. That was great special effects.
I thought that it was absolutely fantastic. It was pretty funny when two-face (I can't remember his real name) was lying in the hospital bed, and the joker walks over in the nurse uniform and says in a flirtatious sort of way, "hi..." The pencil trick was pretty awesome as well.
Hey you guys know the joker died a little before the movie came out because he was so scared of his charactor, that he took drugs and had an overdose and died.
is that how? from what i heard he had to lose wieght (or somthin like that) and he mixed two pill he wasnt soposed to and that killed him also what do you mean by died a little how do you die a little
Died a little? :squirrel_eyebrow: Heath did NOT die because of playing the role of the Joker. If I recall correctly, they were done filming his parts at the end of Summer 07.
Everyone in the theater chuckled a bit with the pencil trick. I thought it was so funny, I just could not stop laughing.:haha:
The Joker didn't kill Heath. Heath had pneumonia and he took sleeping tables. When you have pneumonia you get liquid in your lungs and if you are knocked out or can't wake up to cough, you can choke/drown. That is the most likely reason why he died. If you are wondering why he needed sleeping tables is because he was only having a few hours sleep a night. He just finished the Dark Knight and was about to start the next.
I heard he died from taking a mixture of pills....some of which were not perscribed to him...and the pills had a bad effect when combined which killed him. Speculation, but it sounds about right.
I'm sure you know about DentMobile, the ARG for the dark knight. I didn't follow it, and I was in Chicago on a DentMobile date. Some guy handed me a Harvey Dent bumper sticker, and I was like, "Who the hell is Harvey Dent?" I get it now.
Anybody else notice this one? Whenever something tense is happening, a low, soft noise in the background would be heard. As the scene continued on (for ex. When Joker talks about how he gets his scars) the noise would continually get higher and higher in pitch as well as it continually gets louder, leading to a highly pitched, almost "squeaky-like" noise right as the scene climaxes. I've seen the movie twice now, and that noise happens numerous times throughout the movie. You can tell when something big is about to happen when you hear the lower, softer noise come out of nowhere. Love the movie!
Yes I did notice it because I watched it. Its not hard to miss. In a way I kind of [/facepalme]'d. Its called a violin. The music in the film was phenonimal. BTW, I've seen it 6 times now. After 5 times I figure I'm alright with myself dling it because I've essentially paid for the DVD 2 and half times.
