This may sound like a dumb question, but i don't know all that much about machinima. How exactly is being able to lower guns helpful?

watching the video will answer your question with detail blake, but to put it simply lowering guns can only be done on local matches, and by lowering your weapon a machinima will be more dramatic, silly, show more emotion overall and be more serious then if you had your gun up like you do all the time in matchmaking. the point of the group is to allow this feat over XBL wich will make machinima filming that much easier.
Honestly i don't really care about lowering the gun on halo 3 but anyway i probably wont be playing halo 3 this day since Star Wars TFU comes the 19th and ill be playing it all the time.
My group Team Timeout and TeamTimeout.com supports this. I hope that we win the war and get what we disire because my 7 machinima directors along with myself could use this feature to lower the gun.

First of all, enabling lowering guns on xbox live would cause many problems and glitches (bxb/bxr). Second, do you really think that not playing for a day will make bungie say,"Oh, I guess we better do this!," it won't. There's a reason why you can't.

Trust me; if lowering guns was that important, they would do it. Bungie knows what's best for their game. Hey, for all w know, we could be working on it and taking out bugs for it.
They know what is best for a game, yet they decided to not come out with a new forge map, even with fc2 coming out, and there being a huge fanbase calling for it?

my friend in my clan told me about it i don't want to get a 50 doller memery card for machinima w/ my friends, though i know it is not cheep to make machinima, i want it to be as cheep as posible :happy:
