If you've been to LineRider, then you know why this game is go addictive. For every expert line rider, this game is a canvas of art that you get to send your little buddy through. Although the first one is still being hosted on the internet, the second one that releases next month will be released for consoles and computers. The only console that is hosting the game is the Wii and the DS other than the computer. If you've played the first one then you know how it works. You have a little guy on a sled that travels along a path that you've created for him. Sounds simple till you get into the hard stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW44BpXpjYwAbove was a map produced by the creator of the franchise in the first line rider. This is one of my favorites. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQsTXYr5eoMAbove is a "preview" of Line Rider 2. They have different lines that will be used in number two other than the scenery lines, neutral lines, and acceleration lines. All I want to do is have people go check it out if you haven't already. Also, don't worry if you don't have any art talent. Line Rider 2 features pre-made and easy to make scenery to make your own adventure.
You have to pay for line rider 2, and so you are saying if someone takes a concept and makes it better, its ripping it off? I guess halo and call of duty are ripping of goldeneye then huh?
^ Almost a good example there! Too bad GoldenEye wasn't the first FPS, the first good FPS, the first console FPS, the first 3D FPS, or the first FPS with multiplayer. Oh well, I suppose it's the effort that counts.
Looks sweet. I'm not a fan of those games because the drawing window never gives me enough space in one window, but I can see how cool it looks just by the preview. Any more info on the DS version? Such as Multiplay etc.
There are I think 4 different riders. Obviously you make a map for 4 riders to ride. You can share maps and I'm sure ride them with friends.
I hope there's a multiplayer course drawing session. I mean, it seems like not including this would be a massive fail move.
