There is already a Forge 101 about glitching to get unlimited budget, however if you use it, you'll get the message "cannot spawn object, two many on map" soon after running out of budget when you try to spawn an object, this message also often appeared in the old maps, but I don't know how to avoid it there. I have figured out how to avoid this, so you can place the max amount of each object, if needed. To do this, you're going to want to start with a pre-glitched money canvas, to make things a little easier to start out. There's going to be one of each object starting in the back of Foundry, you must not delete any objects for now, just move them out of the way if you don't need them, even if you spawn them accidentaly.

Now, just go along, building your map. Once you start to have a lot of objects on your map, start to save and quit often, if you need to perfect the angle of some floating objects while doing this, it'd be a good time to do so. As you get near the completition of your map, start to delete any object you know for sure you'll never use. If you save and quit/delete enough, each object deleted should allow you to place about 10-20 new objects after saving and quiting, so long as you are careful not to run in to the item limit. You must save very often, and count the objects placed after each save, if you run into the item limit, end the game. Now, your going to have to go back in and place one less object then you did last time, delete one object you don't need, and then save and quit. Now you'll be able to place more objects.

This technique does require a lot of work, however I found it very useful in a new competitive map I just created, as it allowed me to place enough spawn points, seperate flags for one flag and multi flag, as well as other features for other modes, and completely block off the level. If your going to be using a lot of objects, and plan on making a very detailed map, it can be worth the time it takes. I have so far, only found this "unlimited items glitch" to work on Foundry, and with the unlimited budget glitch active as well. I am not sure if there are any other conditions where it could be useful or work.

Thanks for the tip. I'm just starting a new map and I expect to run into the item limit so this info likely saved me a huge headache.

    Nice.

It's beyond me how I've never run into that item limit. I put at least 20 spawn points on every map. I didn't know spawn points counted towards that until I read it in another thread. I'm sure this will come in handy later.

The last time I created a competitive map, I did it on accident. I wasn't sure if it was an actual glitch that would work every time, if I had bad memory, deleted a lot of stuff, etc. so I didn't post it. I now tried it on a new map I'm making, and got it to work many times, allowing me to add many objects after getting to the item limit, and I can still add more.

Wow, nice work. So I can just continue making my map that I've been working on, saving often, until I run into the limit? Then end without saving and begin doing this trick?

Now lets just hope an update doesn't wreck all our efforts because all these glitches combined = lots of great maps coming...

Woah! I just realized that there are no longer ANY limitations in Forge. There are the unlimited budget, unlimited objects, and no item limit glitches! The only boundaries are now your imagination... (and of course the death barriers)

I thought everyone would like to know this new tip. I'm glad that many are finding it helpful.

I've done some more experimentation with it and this is what I found:
-Although this will allow you to place as many as you want, don't place to many or you'll get really bad lag, even in really small parties
-Generally, if objects on your map are changin colors uncontrollably (not normal) you have to many objects, and need to delete something
-If you use this trick, it will make your map take longer to load
-Saving as a new map doesn't work for this trick
-If your not careful, and making sure that your picking something to delete and saving changes and quiting often, you will reach the item limit
-I have confirmed with more experimentation that the trick does work all the time when done as described in my first post

Correction, there is one limitation possibly. Nobody has shown a picture or video of the unlimited item inventory/item cloning yet, unless I've missed something (haven't checked that thread yet today).

    However, VERY nice find.

The inventory glitch has been confirmed to work by some, and confirmed not to work by others, so I don't know about that one. This trick has it's limits though. Placing more objects than the item on Foundry can add a lot of lag really fast if your not careful. Make sure that the objects on your map aren't changing colors really fast each time you make a new object. If they are uncontrollably changing colors, you may want to delete a few things.

For the item cloning glitch, look for the thread titled "Unlimited Objects" in this forum.

I seem to have stumbled on to a new way of exploiting this glitch. While trying to merge objects, I had to set a number of items to not spawn at game start. Then I let the objects spawn later in the game. When I tried to place another item, I ran into the limit. So I saved the incomplete map as new map so I could tinker safely and when I went into the new copy of the map, the item limit was gone!. I don't know if this was because the items set to spawn later and did not count toward the item limit, or if it was because I saved as new map. If anyone can replicate these results, I'd like to hear back.
