After over a month of forging and countless hours I have finally finished my first venture into a truly competitive map. All my previous forging efforts had been puzzle maps, novelty maps or remakes. Hopefully this will demonstrate that I have the ability to make a "normal" map This is a small (Less than half of Foundry) semi-symmetrical map designed for 2-6 players and works great for FFA, 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 gameplay. It's primarily suited for Slayer and CTF but will work with all the regular gametypes, e.g. Oddball, KOTH, Territories and Assault. The novelty feature of the map is the "beacon" in each of the team's bases. The beacon marks the Flag capture and respawn point. This beacon was once a powerful gravity lift able to transport people to the top floor. Unfortunately, after centuries of use, it only has the power to affect lighter objects, such as grenades. If only there was someway to "Regenerate" the beacon back to its full power... When playing CTF it is HIGHLY recommended you set it so that the Flag must be at home to score and change the Flag Return Time to 10 Seconds! Or use This Gametype Weapon Details. - Frag Grenade x 8, 30s - Plasma Grenade x 4, 30s - Assault Rifle x 4, 30s - Battle Rifle x 4, 20s - Carbine x 4, 20s - Plasma Pistol x 4, 30s - SMG x 4, 30s - Magnum x 4, 30s - Plasma Rifle x 4, 30s - Spiker x 4, 30s - Needler x 2, 30s - Mauler x 1, 120s, Spare Clips: 0 - Rocket Launcher x 1, 180s, Spare Clips: 0 - Bubble Shield x 2, 120s - Regenerator x 1, 120s, Spawn at Start: No - Power Drain x 1, 90s, Spawn at Start: No - Active Camo x 1, 180s Pictures. Each base is practically identical. There are several ways to exit the base. Getting ready to take the flag at blue base. Look it glows! (That's the beacon) Good base defence. Each base connects to 3 tunnels which run under the middle of the map. The tunnels can be inviting, but deadly! Trouble in the tunnels. Up the stairs from each base is the tunnel in the wall, leading to the "Back Alley", which in turn leads to the... ...Rocket bridge! They don't call it the "Rocket Bridge" because it goes well in a salad. All the cover in the middle of the map is designed to be the perfect height to shoot over but also crouch behind for safety. Shh! Don't tell him! And here's a useless fact for you: There are over 50 geo-merged objects on this map, not including the "beacons" and weapon holders underneath the map. It was really fun helping you test this, and i can tell everyone that it has alot of fun gameplay elements, while having a unique look and a UNBELIEVABLE amount of Geo-Merging and Interlocking. You have to be tactical in games like CTF and on Slayer you can take one of the many ways around the map for intense combat scenarios in many different places. LoL-Gamer, do you mean 2 minutes after he finished it...... because i've seen it since he started building.
I was the first person to see this , yay! You showed it to me about 2 minutes after you made it, and I could already see the feature in this map. There is tons of interlocking and cool features in this map, it is also cool how you incorporated your puzzle tactics into this. 5/5 and good rep.

Over 50 Geo-Merged Objects? F*uck me.........My Map. Koleos, Has about 30 Geomerged things, But this took you a month to bUild? My map only took me about a day to make but you had a lot of other things to do. 5/5 Keep Forging!
YOu released a new map yaya Looks very good interlocking makes teh map look very playable, good job with the cover in the map. Rocket is a good idea because some maps of that size need it. Nice map

Now THIS is a map that will be featured. AMAZING aesthetics, excellent map design, and Very cool details (Beacons). This map has opened up a new door to competitive gaming.

For those of you who don't want to make their own gametype to go along with this sick map, I think that Kashmir Flags (for Kashmir Highlands) has the right changes. If I find the post for it I'll add a link here. EDIT: Here's the page for Kashmir Highlands
Thanks man. I'll check to see if that gametype is suitable and post it up in the first post. I didn't want to take up a fileshare slot on a gametype that had minimal alterations.
this map looks incredible, i love the whole tunnel underneath idea, nice interlocking and geomerging. great job.
Out of most maps if not all of the maps i've seen so far since joining Forgehub this is the most impressive out there of them all, the top overview picture makes it look well made and the tunnels have been executed very well. My favorite parts are the geomerged wall ramps in the bases, they make both of the base look awesome. 5/5, I'll also give you some +rep for impressing me Also, if the weapons were changed around would anyone think this would work well for MLG or would the shield doors interfere with that?
very nice *claps hands* the tunnle part of the map is what caught my eye. it always adds that thougt of "are they under me?" and being a little worrysome of entering the tunnles. ill have to Dl this for that reason. also 50 geo-merged items! wow very nice i dont have the patiance to do that.
