    Oooh, v2? I'll have to try it. Is the old gametype compatible? Ah hell, I'll try it. My friends have been complaining about the last man waypoint thing, so I'm sure that'll be an advantage. I still use the olive starting color as mine, due to the camo factor. I love you for that. :p

    Edit: Saw the vid you just posted. Lots of tense and hilarious moments there. I'm gonna see if I can get a big lobby together this weekend.

    Yeah, the only difference in the actual gametype are alpha zombies being black (regulars are still pale green), and the last man has no waypoint. The Custom powerups are for the second gametype I'm making, but the numbers don't quite work.

    I just want to say first of all that I literally spent hours last weekend playing the v1 of this map over and over again with my friends. As I said in the earlier thread, this map is fun, original, and it really never gets old. However, I did find one flaw that I'm sure still exists in the v2- it is quite easy to butterfly jump to the rooftops. Butterfly jumping is when you stand on the head of your teammate, you jump, and when you are still in midair, your teammate jumps, then you jump off of his head. The height it gives you is about that of a triple jump.

    With this tactic on this map, it was pretty easy to ownify the zombies. Before they exit the teleporter, you can jump over to that building and wait behind it. When the zombies come out, you can assassinate them for an easy multikill. It is impossible for the zombies to jump from building to building, so a human can easily become the last man standing and wait out the entire game just camping on top of a building in one spot. Perhaps to counteract this, you should make the buildings a tad taller and slightly more far apart.

    That's why I changed the positioning of the trucks, to prevent that. Although, I call it the buddy jump =p.

    And you might have DL'ed the first gametype with regular gravity, not 150%

    I've been told that it is still possible to cheat in V2, but required at least 3 people in some obscure spot. Wish I had more info to squish that cheat too.

    Actually, me and my friend were doing the jumping off of the dumpsters, crates, and wire spools. We used the truck, too, but it's not like there weren't other means of getting up.

    And the gametype we used was "Real Zombies" with the description "Get some practice in before 2012."

    Download the one that's on the thread now, to make sure.

    I tried the buddy jump with the new gravity and map a lot, and it didn't get me 3/4 of the way up.

    Wow, thanks a lot, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I highly doubt this would get featured, though, as it definitely does not have that "look" the featured maps have.

    I'm glad that you, rather than complain about the ammo element of gameplay, changed the settings to something you preferred. If you feel headshots should be awarded with an instant kill, go for it - It WOULD give people more of a reason to pick up pistols and BR's; I notice most go for SMG/Shottie.

    The only problem I had with headshots was the potential number of kills with a full pistol or BR was in the 40's, vs 30 if you somehow got all 5 shotguns, which would hard ( and selfish). Also, with headshots off, it would require a group to coordinate to use the pistol/Br to finish zombies really fast. If 3 people all get BRs or pistols and shoot at a zombie once each, they'll die just as fast as any shotgun. You get the advantage of being able to keep that type of defense up longer, but with the risk of dying if one of you misses.

    Thanks again for the kind words. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but, a superforge would allow me to take this to the next level (level 7-4, OMG I HATE U BOWSER).

    Under the base player traits, zombie traits, and alpha zombie traits, you can change their colours under the appearance section.

    i just recently dowloaded the first one and this on looks amazing! also is it okay to use your design or the test version of the hurricane town series Hurricane town V3.5? it could be fun, if so ill post it up and if not go back to the old fashion hurricane town.

    I don't quite understand. Are you talking about using my map with your gametype? If so feel free.

    If you're talking about altering my map to make it more hurricane-y, then if you mentioned the base layout belonging to me then I'd be ok with that too.

    Sure, go for it. Just keep in mind I'm keeping the gametype the way I have it. I made it that way specifically so it would be really hard to survive the entire round, and you'd feel like you accomplished something when you did.

    Still, feel free to change it to your liking when you play it. My way isn't the only or right way to play infection, just the way I prefer.

    this map looks really good. it sounds like it would be fun as humans to block off the door to a building and stay in it. i also like how the zombies have a soccer ball to play with while their waiting for the dumpster to move. u should make more versions of the map, maybe with buildings with upper levels or bigger houses, or even include more gametypes for it. people like variety, maybe gametypes for like difficulty levels.

    Those are very good ideas. Unfortunately, I can't add anything to it, much as I'd like to (budget very low). However, the difficulty levels thing seems pretty interesting; it'd work better than this other game mode I tried to do, at least.

    Just to let you guys know, I'm planning work on a "V3" (V6 from the first concept of it). The one center building is still not working out, and one of the corner buildings needs some work. I also have plans for that "storage room" building.

    And for kicks, I've been keeping track of certain "records" in the game. If you've done better than this show me the game info and I'll put you in

    Highest human multikill: Me (=D), killtastrophe
    Highest zombie multikill: ILALQ, overkill
    Longest spree: ILALQ, 31 kills (His sniper is F%^#ing insane!)
    Most incinerations in 1 firebomb: 5, AMDSPIDER
