As much as I love GMod (used to make a forum-centric comic with it), that video was disappointing. Perhaps it's because I've grown out of the "kill ragdolls for lulz" stage.
same as arch here, but i love gmod mainly for the reason get ready to laugh: Spoiler i want to be an architect, and design a program for interactive architecture like gmod oh well that was it...get it out of your system now...oh yeah and when i was a little kid i loved contraptions...i could watch them for like literally hours!
Of course. Building something (anything) in GMod is amazing good fun. Better than dropping the G-Man off a building at any rate.

Agreed Gmod is awesome. This video was awesome I was like in the beginning, how could a 3 minute video show 101 way to kill Gman lol. Nice video!
it was originally a half life 2 mod, but turned into its own game. you can now create complex contraptions, and play with a community (haha like make a trap and kill a noob online)
You can do almost anything in the mod version (GMod 9) that you can do in the retail version. Sure, it's less stable, and a lot of the newer tools and features have to be manually installed (if they exist), but it's free and it still works. I dropped the $10 for GMod retail, though. The stability was definitely make-or-break for some projects.
