changes to forge: 1. an Undo button. reason being I cannot count how many times i've attempted to click on one thing to delete and have accidentally deleted something of major importance behind it. Or when I delete one thing, try it out and realize I don't like it. 2. the ability to change whether objects are moveable/immoveable. this would just just a setting you could change on an object, with some exceptions for things such as weapons. Scenery objects, however, would have this be a standard setting you could change around (much like the whole asymmetrical/semmetrical game settings objects already have). How sweet would it be to have immoveable crates? or walls that would move and topple over like dominoes? objects i would like to see: -single/double boxes with openings on 4 sides ==walls that could be place in said boxes that could seal them off (like in blackout, avalanche). -placeable elephants -selective color schemes for objects.
ok i have an idea these arnt objects but here we go a big box with set your own limits so it can be what ever you want it to look like then an option to make everything look like snow, jungle, urban themed whatever the option to turn of and on imovability or to make objects stay in mid air until you touch them (falling floor) the option to select the size of a box and it spawn (like the koth hills) the option to erase parts of a box make a hole with out waisting a ton of materials i second an undo button the ability to interlock with out starting a new round (or using doors) blood dead bodys broken vehicles destroyed walls MORE WEAPONS/ ARMOR/ brute players? light mgs?
Besides the openable doors i would like to see glas that could be broken same thing with walls also i would like the ability to De-spawn items since that would be really cool
Veichle I wish they could put in a Scarab, Mini Scarab if they can, and the veichle in halo wars called the hawk if they can
or a type of door that requiures teamwork like one team member wuld need to stay in a certain spot 4 the team but someone needs to get to the other side of a map or wherever the other switch is for like infection
My list is simple. 1.) Big empty area in-doors or not with no preset geometry, it can even be a solid color all around all at right angles so placement is much easier and geo-merging isn't necessary.(only 2 others said this??) 2.) Solid skin boxes, walls, everything. 2 different colors(at least for floors) so interlocking is smooth and distinctive. This would look much like old multiplayer FPS games. 3.) Color indicator, like the new effects that can only affect a small area around it. Would make red base and blue base much easier to identify. BTW, I'm new here.. Hi everyone.
We need pipes. Yes...pipes. And some other detail-ish objects. And maybe even a broken plane, or parts, on a map. Also, lighting on map needs to be improved, for instance, take an Open Double Box, then simply close it of with Walls, what happens? No darkness? No. Still the same lighting.
I've mentioned this before on other site's forums, but poles/boards would be a nice addition. It's the only major shape that you would find in a typical hardware store that hasn't been implemented as of yet. Quick list of uses: -'rebar' interlocked into a space between walls for a destroyed feel -jump/crouch obstacles -pipes/drains -insanely hard ballance beams. [lol!]
It would be really nice to have objects such as boxes that we could resize to fit into small or larger spaces. Also, maybe having a choice of color for items.
I believe the avid Forgers need lots of room to play. I think we need "Click RB to use" objects. First thing I think of::: Now, I also believe we need more angled objects. Think of how much has been done with Stairs and Wall Corners. We've used them just as much for guides as we have for their intended purpose. Angles will help us create more exact and interested structures. Lastly, I'd like a grating of some sort. I think it could be about as tall as a Bridge on its side (if not, shorter). It would be similar to a Fence Wall in appearance, but it would be long. I got this from the fence section below the raised platform as you're entering Foundry's back hallway. That stuff would be sweet.
I would put the troop warthogs in forge and being able to sit in the back, not just having to do the glitch on the pit _______________________________ I don't just play maps, I beat them down and resight ridiculous movie slogans to make them cry mg:
I would like cylinder pillars, lockers like in the foundry locker rooms, and fusion coil holders, like small boxes open on one side.
