they are ok... kind of meh if you ask me. The yoda one looks squished. the lights don't really blend well. most look very generic... I really can't say much good about them =/
I think you need alot more work with matching backgrounds. Use different backgrounds, dont just use a different pattern. And use about one render only. Using 2 or more makes them look cluttered.
Well, you spelled "you're" wrong in the first one, which is just embarrassing, and then you just have a render with some pixelated background. And why would you put 5 of the same character in your Devil May Cry sig? That's just plain bad.
I asked for it like this, and I didn't make it this guy is trying to show how good he is, they aren't horrible, they just aren't good
Yeah they seem like the same background with a different pattern everytime, just with different renders. Try blending the renders better, a different style of background, messing around with filters, and a few other techniques. Just google some tutorials and you should have plenty of luck.
Are you kidding me? Those are terrible. Besides the cheap effects, terrible brushing and lousy renders, it was basically a copy paste job. First off you've got color clashes in a couple of those sigs and for some reason, you like monochrome backgrounds. This is a color wheel, and it loves you. Green and red are on opposite sides. Along with other colors. Not to mention they're pixelated and it is NOT pleasing to the eye. With a light feather and possibly better brushing you could be better. Lighten up on the lens flare, because nobody like a cheap effect, and anyone whos anyone who knows how to use photoshop can sniff a lens flare from a mile away. Work on text, and study more PSD's. Go to sites like 22pixels.com for tuts and resources download flock. And stop using renders, start using stocks. Thanks Vinny for the "Constructive" Criticism. I totally see where you are coming from and thanks for the color wheel... I wanted one but was too lazy to find it. Anyway I ran out of room on my other post so here are some new ones.
In addition to that color wheel, here is a color scheme generator that is extremely helpful for beginners. You choose your primary signature color, and the site will show you variations of that color that would match it and not clash.
IMO they need ALOT of work.... Dont just slap a render and sum text on a plain back ground and call it a signature.. Try doing a few tuts then just start messing with what you've learned from the tuts EDIT: Just saw 2nd page. The new sigs you posted are a HUGE improvement, but they still need work
Thanks for the constructive criticism Paranormal. I totally agree with you. I did however design this thread to get help so I can improve. And thanks for noticing and commenting on the immprovements.
