Well a long time ago I made an original berserker battle for from GOW for halo 3. Alot people loved the game, but I thought it wasnt complex and was pretty sloppy, so I decided to make a new and better battle that duplicates the battle in Grears. The map itself is really good and courtyard just makes everything better. Yes, there is only two hallways but it can become a challenge when the berserker is wild.The humans spawn in a hallway with the berserker right behind them. Of course people who played Gears of War should know what to do (get the zombie to knock down the doors). Then you are able to get into the next hallway and repeat until your in the courtyard. Humans cannot kill the berserker (this is not optional, the zombie is invunerable), they get to kill him in the courtyard where the hammer and custom powerup are so that the humans can kill him. The pics tell the most about the map. In my opinion overall, I think I did really good duplicating the battle into halo 3. RULES 1.Zombie cant shoot while in chopper 2.Zombie cant get out of chopper. sounds very good the map has a lot of movable objects which makes it stand out from the usual two bases and a centerpeice map and are also tricky to forge with so well done and kudos for posting right first time couple of things i would change 1.why not just make the zombie damage 0% that way he can shoot all he wants 2.add some action pics or a video{if you don't have a capture card use gamevee.com} minigames like this will get more attention with action pics or video showing rather than explaining how it works But this looks like a great minigame nice work Welcome to ForgeHub
Thanks for the good feedback but 1.If he has 0% damge, the humans can only die by being rammed while in a corner, I want them to die even when not aganst a wall just like in gears of war 2. I'll see what I can do
dang, i made one of these maps a while ago, perfect timing. right before im about to post on forgehub my map, my xbox gets red ring of death. Ive made 2 gears maps so far, they are actual remakes of the real level with the same rules. I just want everyone to hear this: when my xbox comes back in about 3 weeks and i post my version up on forgehub, please dont tell me "its been done before" because i made my map long ago and never put it up. but it is on bungie.net if you want to see "china shop" (level with the berserker)
i like it, whats the hammer of dawn though? rocket launcher, or special power up? what happens oif the berserker getds it? anyway this sounds awesome, the first time i ever faught the berserker i almost **** my pants when he broke down that first door i shuttered haha i love it nice job my friend/
I think I saw your first version. This seems like a very creative infection variant. Those huge pillars look awesome.
and bloumbas, the hammer of dawn is a weapon on gears, its really just like a GPS navigator on a gun, you point it at a target and a satelite overhead beams a giant beam down to earth and annihilates everything you point at
wow. this looks better than the ones i've seen. the ones ive seen had a bunch of weapons, aka armory, aka "big no-no." it didnt even have a spartan laser for the hammer of dawn!!! they had a sentinel beam. wow. bu this map looks great, and i love it. 5/5 for sure. keep on forging!
this looks sick when i play it on gears i always almost pee my pants cause it is freaky when he charges and im scared im gonna make me and my cousin restart it again!!
WOAH this is amazing. this is really the only thing i remember from GOW. it's very accurate. i just think the wall should be higher in the courtyard. 4.5/5
its a little small in my taste compared to others that i make, just it only has 3 rooms and the garden is very small for a final fight, the last room should always have enough room to give the berserker a final chance
a zombie that has a lot of health and cannot do any damage unless it splatters needs to use choppers and splatter people
looks awesome i love gears but how do you play? i mean there aren't any gametypes that make you as strong as a berserker is there?
