The thing about the scoring system is once you are leading all you have to do is kill yourself to end the round. Other than that I more fully understand where you are coming form with this. What I meant by a hero spawn system would be like 'the last level', where you can pick your class each time you spawn in a separate area of the map.
I am still confused on how this got featured, but the map looks decent. I will try it out now and see if it is any good.
to be honest i just dont get it. i can c that if you knew how to play it would be really fun but i dont get it. =/
I can see what you are saying here. I am actually shocked that people use this as a strategy. In all the test games and matches I played nobody used that as a way to win. However, I will be updating the gametype to try and fix this. I was pretty sure I thought of this before and set the gametype to include no friendly fire, but apparently I didn't. Look for an update soon to help prevent this. I don't think many people have thought of this so I think the game could still survive without a fix, but just to be sure I will figure something out. What's so confusing about it? Not every map has to be an interlocked and merged masterpiece to get featured. Sometimes it's about originality and gameplay. You'll learn young padawan. Maybe it's just me since I invented it, but it doesn't strike me as a game that comes off as "confusing and hard to understand" as some people have said. It's simple really, start the match, someone becomes the spy, the others are shooters and doctors, hop the fence in a manner that you are not seen, steal the flag, score the flag. Simple.
Great game type idea, but the map is just lacking a little extra looks. It also helps to gemerge the double boxes so they don't trap grenades. 4/5
Thanks God of Forge, I appreciate the fact that you took the time to check out my map. Oh wait, no you didn't. If you did you would realize that there are no grenades on this map, making your "gemerge" the boxes observation a moot point. And while I am throwing you under the bus here I mind as well mention that if you read the post and tried the game you would realize that the arena is merely for support of the gametype, not the other way around. It's supposed to be set up to resemble a gym of sorts where the real life game is played. It's not there to impress with "gemerging" or much interlocking. As a matter of fact I built this map in about 2 hours, proving that you can get a feature without a super special looking map. And trust me, you don't have to give me Forge advice. Sorry to come off like a **** here, but too many people comment without actually trying the map, and for that I now dub you God of Fail.
